I cannot begin to tell you how moving this story is. I teared up at parts. Jack and Elizabeth are the most in character of the movies I've ever read them to be. A very hard task not allowing them to dissolve into something else.

Miz Kohl lined eyes, your story is beautiful--can't believe that lived in your head until you got it on paper. Your dialogue work is exceptional, feels like my beloveds when I read what is there. Interesting comment from you comparing Jack and the Earl (Libertine). I found that character to be Jack too when I watched it. Some of the expressions and attitudes, a dark sad Jack, but still himself. The scene with his wife in the coach was amazing. I have always believed from the first time I saw PotC, that at some point in time, Elisabeth would be with both Jack and Will, just not possible to imagine any other thing. In Elisabeth, I see so much strength and passion, the men around her would also have to be strong willed as well. I also believe her true love for Will, committed to her pair-bonded mate. I see her connection to Jack as a force of nature--my own love of the sea and looking forward--undeniable, it would take both men to have a balance in her. Loved your sea scenes, you have a nice touch for the ship as well--people who don't connect with the sea have a hard time with the environment, the Pearl is Jack's Mistress and conduit to the water below. He loves that too. Thanks for your charming tale and all the hard work you have expended. More please.

Oh My. That was wonderfully written, I can't wait for the sequel. I do love this so much, it's just....ouch, these angsty fics make me want to put MY heart in a damn chest! I am IN NO WAY criticizing this fic, because there isn't a thing wrong with it. It is a dilemma for me, because I so love happiness and fluff. But, those fics are *usually, but NOT always* the ones that are not so well written, and not so believable. Well, I look forward to more from you, you have a talent for writing, making the reader feel all the emotions and pain as the characters do.

There are only 3 reasons why I don't have have my virtual fangs and claws out right now...I'm sure you're gonna fix the mess you made, Jack isn't real (if the Sparrow-verse were real Elizabeth would have been fish food a long time ago and the best advice anyone could give you would be to run and don't stop...since one little kracken would be much easier to avoid than multitudes of grieving women) and last but by no means least is that you're good. Even bad smut can cause hormone levels rise. Writing something that heart breaking enough to make people cry is very difficult. Making *me* cry is damned near impossible. It annoys me greatly, but you managed to do it. The characters are mostly in character and you struck a good balance between the various aspects of the story. If you have other fic I'll check it out to see if it's a fluke or if you are an author worth specifically looking for.

Dearest little one, Miz Kohl lined eyes, I bow deeply to you for the pleasure your story has given me. I have read lots of fanfic (even tried a write or two) and I love, love, love, a twist to the love story some feel for Jack and Elisabeth and Will. You walked a very narrow beam to honor all, not paint Will evil. You hit upon every shade of grey that a woman might feel if she were in Elisabeth's shoes.
Your dialogue is exquiste, you did not misstep with that at all and I adore dialouge that forces me to see my beloveds. I could see them, fragile Jack, strong Elisabeth, and patient loving Will. God to have to face your life, knowing you were shattered and would never recover--god, how hard hard hard for his friends who loved him so. Elisabeth, my beautiful selfish woman, she did indeed love them both didn't she, then finally loved herself more. thanks for all the hard work you put into this story and thank you for sharing this gentle tale about people we have grown to love.

First off I want to say thank you for writing this amazing story! Secondly, I don't think I've been so emotionally attached with any fan fiction story ever. Your portrayal of Elizabeth and Jack were breathtaking. If Jack ever had to show his "real" emotions I think you wrote him perfectly! And Elizabeth was beautifully written, strong and a pirate at heart. I liked how both Jack and Will were able to have time with her and come to an understanding over everything through the bond of loving her. So sad yet so sweet! To end this long rant...I loved Jack at the end, the closure and the fact that he would always be sailing towards her until he was with her again.
I hope that all made sense; I tend to ramble when I love a story. Thank you again for a beautiful story. I can’t wait to see what you write next!
