Nicely done, and IMO a believable scenario. All the characters were nicely rendered, and the emotions were handled with in a restrained and deft manner. Most enjoyable!!

I would like to say that this has been the best PotC story I have ever, ever, ever read and I believe will ever read. Everything was spot on and I found myself so attached to this and so... God, I don't even have the words to say. Everything was perfect. Jack was Jack, Elizabeth was Elizabeth. Everything... perfect. I rarely ever reviw for a story, seeing as most of the time it has no point since its impossible to get another chapter or sequel out of the writter but when I finished reading this... I had to! This story is so amazing, so brilliatly written. Its perfect. Everything about it is absolutely perfect. Nothing I can see be changed, nothing I would want to change. Perfect. So wonderfully perfect. However, I have to admit I'm slightly uneased about reading this because I now know that no matter what J/E story I read it will never compare to this masterpiece. Quite sad now, no? Unable to thouroughly enjoy other stories now. Ah, but it is worth it. I don't care anymore. This story is 100% worth it.
I know its silly for me to continue but I am so... moved my the exilency of this story that I have to continue. I have to keep pouring out praise until the feelig of awe and amazement finally leaves the place it has occupied in my chest. Amazing. Again, I must say: amazing. Everything was perfect. Everything.
Thank you so much. Thank you so much for writting this so that I can enjoy it. Please, if you can, I beg you to write a sequel. But alas, this works well as a standalone also, does it not? Complete in a way and it keeps you wishing, guessing, and hoping? I love the angst. I love the pain. It sounded so real. I could see all this happening. It is so real.
But, if there is a possability, I again ask for you to write it. I thank you so much again.
This story has to be the best thing I have ever read...
Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic. There is no other way to describe it. Both Jack and Elizabeth were kept in character the whole story (which is a rather amazing feat) and the fact that you were able to build a believable plot line and develop realistic characters in such a short story really shows how well a writer you really are. I also agree that Jack wouldn't just curl up and die. No, Jack would most definitely sail on. I'm very impressed and I'll be crossing my figners for more stories from you.

What was awesome, was that at the end, "He's a Pirate" started playing in my head on cue.
Nicely done. Sequel?

That you were able to get these powerful and painful emotions on paper while keeping everyone in character is impressive. I definitely got choked up more than a few times during this story. Thank you for sharing your story with us, and thank you for giving us just that slight glimmer of hope at the end. I agree, after all that Jack has been through, he has proven over and over again that he is not the kind of man to wallow in his grief. Hope you consider a sequel.

It is pathetic that fictional characters make me bawl like a baby? This story is unbelievably GOOD. I thought you captured Jack PERFECTLY. No worries there. You write ~SOOO~ well. I think I'd read anything you put out there, even Willabeth. *shudder* You seriously write that well. I can't wait to see whatever you've got planned next! Something happily ever after or even a sequel to this... I mean, come on... Barbossa came back from the dead, Jack came back from the dead, this is just a speculation, but I'm assuming ol' Bootstrap is going to be coming back from the (kinda) dead in AWE... bring our Lizzie BACK! Please. :)
