I am always amazed how people write 'stories' that have practically nothing to do with the canon personalities. This was COMPLETELY out of character for Jack.

Not cheesy! It was good, I liked it!

It's a cute story, a good plot, even, but you might want to think about getting a beta next time. And I know it's just a one-shot for fun, but if you decide to try your hand at something a bit longer, please be sure to research before you write. For instance, I'm not entirely sure of the specifics of the legend of 'Santa Claus', but I do know it goes back quite a while. I'm sure it may have existed during this period, but I can almost guarantee Jack wouldn't have been standing there in a 'Santa hat', or at least not the modern version you were more than likely picturing when you wrote this, as the legend of Santa more often than not has him wearing attire befitting of that time period. Just a thought. Great effort, though. Thanks for sharing!
