It's been months and months and months since I've even been on this site, either to post or read, unless I'm looking for a specific fiction that's been lost from my collection. That being said, I'd like you to know that the only reason for my returning to this site during the past six weeks has been to read and reread this fine piece of fiction. I stumbled into the Sleepy Hollow category from sheer idle wonder, curious as to whether anyone with any talent had ever gotten around to writing a truly fine story based on the movie. Imagine my awe when I found a beautiful gem of a piece devoted to the development of my absolutely favorite character (both in and outside of the movie) - the Headless Horseman. I adore your evocative use of language, especially between the sheets with the Hessian and Cloella.

The use of an OC is usually something I refuse to put up with, and yet I fell desperately in love with such a sweet, charming, bashful, yet at the very same time, brazen and rawly sexual girl as Cloella. At times I simply wanted to steal her away from our lovely Hessian. And oh dear. The Horseman himself. I can't ever help but compare him to my fiance, all powerful muscles and fiery eyes and large.... appetite. ;] It quite helps, as he's currently halfway across the world, and as you very well must know, a girl gets lonely!

And just so you know how much I love this story... you ought to know that if you were ever to put this marvelous marriage of love, power, and lust into paper form, my copy would be dog-eared and well-worn within a week. Kudos!

One word: WOW. This was an incredibly well-written story. I've long been a fan of The Hessian, and your story will give me dreams for many nights to come. I love the romance of the tale. Truly a new "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" has been written!

Wow! I loved this story! I read your Hellboy story too and I defintetly think you should continue. I just wish I coud read more about the Hessian and Cloella!

This was beautifully written, I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this. My reading anything “Sleepy Hollow” was a total fluke, but I am so glad that I did. Lovely, absolutely lovely! You truly have a gift.

Oh my god.. This has got to be the most beautiful story I have ever read about Sleepy Hollow.. I swear, the last lines of the last chapter almost made me cry.. It was captivating and very emotional, I loved it so much. It is definately a top 5 favorite, I especially love how you incorporated what actually happened in the movie, to what your story told. Absolutely beautiful, loved it, loved it, loved it.

Some little girl over on Fanfiction.net has plagarized your story by stealing your original idea, much of the phrasing that you use, and other small details. She only has two chapters posted, but I reported her. Just thought I'd let you know.

Wow, I mean, wow. I loved the Hessian anyway but... Wow.
Seriously I think this is one of the best fanfics i've ever read.
You rule. Your writting rules and your characterisation of the Hessian rules. I even loved the OC, a new thing for me lol.

Wow. That was really great. I must admit that I am not a great sympathizer for the Hessian, but it was quite a beautiful story. You have a very nice style and diction. I greatly enjoyed reading it. My boyfriend was so frustrated with me as I just read all night!
