It's been over a year since you've updated this story, but I do hope that you eventually come back to it again. It's a great story. I adore how you've characterized Jack. I like him more serious and dark and cunning. Very sexy!

I would say that this is a very good appoximation of the aftermath of AWE - it wouldn't end that easily as what we were shown or made to believe.

A good man - yes, but a broken man and a broken man has a hard time being the good man that he is. *sigh* Poor Jack. And it seems Elizabeth is getting a taste of having to deal with the aftermath of her actions that I'm sure she's never had to do before. Things aren't always forgiven and there's not always someone to save you.

Interesting twist w/Calypso - It's hard to believe she would just be freed and then leave everyone alone and things go on right as rain. They did kill DJ after all. I guess another thing the movies just didn't address. So many open endings for authors to persue!
