I found this story very fascinating. It was a great backstory on Jack, and you kept them well in character, especially Lizzie. The build-up was very well-done, and the actual sex scene (or scenes) were done great. All in all, I loved it, and I'm going to read the one-shots connected to it now.

Although in general, this is one of the best written stories I've read on AFF in a long while, I have to give you extra credit for that wonderful sex scene. I'm a writer myself, and I know how difficult those scenes can be to write without making them... anything other than what yours was. I'm impressed, and I lift my bottle of rum to you. Cheers. Great characterization, mixture of cannon and AU, and it ended at just the right place. In my mind, it's a happy ending, but with those two, who knows? Thanks for the fic!

Wow, a super storyline and excellent development of Liz and Jack, hope you continue writing Pirates fanfiction.

Love the way this storyline is going, very interesting similarities yet differences that have been woven between Liz and Jack. Can't wait to see what happens when Liz realizes what she wants! Continue updating, it's great!
