Oh, this is really getting interesting! The dancing and the scenery seems to be more 19th than 18th century, but it reminded me a lot of "Phantom of the Opera", one of my favourite novels :)
I feel a bit sorry for Norrington, though. I've always liked him for some unfathomable reason ... But anyway, great job with this chapter, and very in-character portrayals of Jack and Lizzie. Keep up the good work!

What a great idea! The idea of Jack wearing a mask to meet Elizabeth at a ball is truly wonderful and I can't wait to learn whether he's really a noble man.
