First thing, PUHLLEEEZE don't hurt the baby.
Second, how old is she? She seems too crisp in the mind to be suckling. Is it like a 'Grapes of Wrath' thing where you either have breastmilk or nothing for dinner?
Eitherway, it's all good. I really like that warm n' fuzzy feeling when I read about their bonding. 'S real nice.

Wonderful story, I liked how you showed the maternal instincts with the female yautja. I believe many of the predator stories lack that.

I'm amazed at the almost immediate bond forming between Pa'dax and Phoenix. At least the girl has some relief from punishment and also won't get a collar. But over time that could change. A little ray of hope in the story, Lady Prairie, and very interesting. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Well, while that was a mild chapter and some good things did happen. I'm guessing that the next ones will be more evil? I'm really interested to see where this goes... =D

Your Bad Bloods are so vile they make my stomach hurt. Sadistic Dtai’ku is particularly appalling. Really well done characterizations on them. I'm glad you had Pa'dax noting that Phoenix stank; none of the males has made any attempt at caring for her other than giving her the fruit, so she should be in desperate need of clean pants. However, I am finding Phoenix's thought processes and emotional restraint a tad mature for a two-year-old. I'll be interested to see where you go with this fic.

Holy smokes, but they are cruel! You really know how to bring about the more sadistic and harsh traits of the Yautja, Prairie. But it's very good. I look forward to the next portion.
