I'll have you know that before this I didn't bother making an account- it's rare for me to find any good stories on here. Then I found this earlier this morning and...oh dear lord... It's BEAUTIFUL.
See, I'm not very well at reviewing stories as I, in general, forget what I'm going to say in advance, but I'll make an effort for this.
How you personified Jack was spot on and Barbossa's...well... moodiness I suppose you could say, was brilliant and very like the captain I adore. The history you built with them was excellently executed and I enjoyed every bloody moment of this story.
It's a damn shame you only had five reviews for this. Count this the sixth unless some fool came to their senses and reviewed as well. May you gain many more!
Pardon my horrible grammar skills. I have no sense of it.

I thought that Jack and Barbossa would have a good story behind them, but I didn't expect it to be THIS good. By turns immensely enjoyable and very sad. I especially liked the account of how they met. Convincing characterisation throughout.

Wow! Barbossa giving it up to Jack (if that's even what you'd call it in this case hehe) was suuuuperb. I love Jack's methods; I'm not sure Hector would go for it under any other circumstances. I love Jack's reasoning about going ahead with it even against Hector's wishes. I giggled at "I don't fancy being skinned." I've been totally rooting for Jack to have a go at him for a whole lot of chapters now, and I'm super psyched to finally see it happen. I wish the scene didn't fade to black at the end so fast - I would have liked to see more. But I suppose I can use my imagination. You've certainly given enough to go on. Nice nice nice job!

Lots of things I liked in this chapter. First, your Jack is spot-on. I love how he tries to talk himself out of trouble. Using eunuchs, no less. Awesome.
I love how well you convey his state of mind once they get to the bedroom. The line with the candelight and the world narrowing... That sort of thing really drew me in. Confused and wasted and lusting hard Jack is adorable.
And of course the sex is super hot. Barbossa looking over at Jack while face-fucking a whore on her knees rings very true, and very yummy. I like how Jack's getting his first wench and yet all he can think about is the friend who's sharing her with him.
On a side note, the tiny but very vigilant feminist within me applauds you for your treatment of Ellie. Even thought the focus of the sex is what's between Jack and Hector, she gets to be an actual person instead of just a two-dimensional blowup doll (not that there is such a thing). Kudos all round. Off to read the rest...

Wow. Hot, hot, and hot! Hang on, I'm sure the ability to form words will return in a second...
