This is such a fantastic story! It's so refreshing to see a girl on the Dutchman who isn't treated differently as most fics tend to. Also: the frequent updates are a very welcome surprise! :3

simple is good. poetics sometimes get in the way of it.
that said, the poetics in THIS chapter ruled. :D and I love how Davy totally gets into her personal space. Me being a dumbass I would have likely gone into some rant about men blaming women for thier own follies and weaknesses but he'd likely snap my neck right after... lol
keep goin' this is such a fun read
oh, and that asshole in the kitchen? As long as he doesn't go all Tyler Durden-style peeing in the stew... lol.

its fun as hell so far. I don't read too many self-insertions normally but you made it fun. Modern girl instead of pirate speak is so much easier, ain't it?
