Masterful storytelling. I was litterally on the edge of my seat. Banaj was in love?
What is shlok like with his remaining mates? Was Stephna trying to drive that wedge between Kayla and Shlok over jealousy and Kulvir?

Wow, where to begin?
It was actually quite fortunate timing that I was just finishing re-reading through Book 2 as this new chapter went up. It's really amazing how well you've grown your characters and their personalities and comparing them from then to now. But that's what makes you such an exceptional writer.
Down to business. Quite interesting that ol pervy-yautja Ba'naj suddenly grew such affection towards Kayla (in Book 2, he treated her just as an amusing fascination) and even cares for her more than his own mates. I guess Kayla and Sh'lok were going through another bad time in their relationship, but I guess that's to be expected when Kayla especially is living far longer than is normal. Plus I agree that it sounds plausible that Stef'na might have had a hand in that after what happened with the deaths of both Kul'vir and Ro'Shan. And damn, that Sou'sha is annoying, and I don't really trust that guard of hers, even if his story is true. It was kind of interesting watching Ba'naj and his father argue, where you wouldn't think that he's as old as he's been talked of with the way he pines after Kayla. Ta'noj and Jasmine are becoming a very amusing couple and Jasmine's quirky innocence is really funny, so is of course her continued interactions with Mi'tra and Kuja.
Again, I've gone on long enough, but this was just such an awesome chapter. The scene with Ba'naj and Kayla was so hot, even though it was short, but you've been doing such a great lead-up to that moment ever since Book 2, it felt quite momentous. I hope we'll be able to learn of what transpired during their elder "fight". :) Also will be interesting to see if Sh'lok actually knew about it all or if he'll find out.
So whenever you have the time to write another spectacular chapter, please do, I for one will be waiting with unbridled anticipation. :)

Hell yeah it was worth the wait!
hot damnnnn. Ba'naj and Kayla, although I think he killed her. He come across kind of quick tempered. Jasmine is clueless, I like her quirky character. It keeps getting better....

Yes it was worth the wait. This is becoming the best pred murder mystery ever.
Kuja’s the best. The way she just calmly diffused that argument between Ta’noj and Mi’tra was just so smooth.
“Will you allow me to please you this evening,”
Jasmine’s response should have been: ‘hellz-2-the-yes’. Ta’noj is turning into one sexy bastard. It’s something like Urkel and Stefan. Once he was the obedient and dutiful prim and proper son and now he’s all dead sexy.
I love the way you show the male’s attachment to Kalya by having them walk away from her screams behind the doors as she fights. The build up so far is flawless, I can’t wait to see how it call comes to a head in the end. Continue doin’ what cha do.
Ps. Sou-sha needs her ass beat. Not now, but right now.

And the plot thickens! OOOO, it's getting to be so twisted and good. I can't wait to see what happens next. And no worries on how long it takes to update. I for one will always wait to get the next chapter! =D

I seriously do not like that Sou-sha. Can someone take her down a peg oo two please? Ba'naj maybe or Shra'van. Someone's gotta knock down, or knock her off Circle, they just gotta.
