Wow, I thought this was going to be one of the usual "let's turn Jack into a punching-ball" fics, but you pulled it off really well. Even the part where very young Jack has an ambiguous relationship with his abuser - great job!

Mmmm loved it. I wish the last sex chapter was longer though but nonetheless I loved it! Great story :D very interesting spin on it ya'know? :D!! Good job seriously. Hopin to read more from you ~_^

Oh hell, you must write more! That was just unbelievably hot, and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed reading it. It was totaly awsome, and now that you've made us think about what it actually would be like if Barbossa DID give up to Jack...Well, I can't stop thinking about it. You've got to write it!
All in all, it was well written, easy to read, and sexy as hell. Keep writing!

You have to continue this story - you have to! You must! As you see I'm fairly incoherent with joy over what you've already written but I simply don't think I can go on if you don't at some point produce the scene where Hector finally gives it up to Jack that you mentioned in the final note here...
OK. In the interests of trying to write a proper review, I must calm down. What to say - it's not just all the hot, explicit, convincing sex, but like all your stories, this is a terrific piece of writing - you write an excellent Jack Sparrow and dare I say it an even better Barbossa. I particularly liked the flash back-and-forwards you used here, they worked really well and the hints and acknowledgements between chapters about what had gone on in the past were a nice touch. The set-up you came up with also neatly explained how Barbossa ended up as first-mate and how he was hell-bent on resuming captain-ship afterwards - great idea there. Thank you so much for posting this!

Well, in looking for new fic to read, and having to look thru AFF. you know i was desperate lol..
i come across this and have to say WOW. This was bloody fantasic!! Hot man sex....
You write the sex scenes realistic, and have the character voices and WoW...
Am going to look thru the other fics you have posted. I do hope you continue in some way with this or start a new one...hint hint

Wow....lol I'v never been one for Jack/Barbossa stories, to odd really, but I couldn't stay away from this one lol it called to me! "Miya! Miya read me!" lol I guess it was because I really love how Jack and Barbossa act around each other movie or other wise lol write more please.
