Okay, so you've got me nervous...Elizabeth's not going to claim rape in the morning, is she? You did a nice job with the sex scene, better than most I've read, though! Just wondering where this ultimately is going though.;-)

I can't really see Jack as that sort in canon, but if it makes the plot work (and it did) then more power to ya.

Ok, honestly, not seeing or liking Jack as a rapist...but it did serve at least to make Barbossa a little protective, so that's good. I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter! I'm predicting some wondrous personal conversation between the Captains?

This was so much fun to read! Watching them interact makes you want them together, so good job! In other words, your Elizabeth and Barbossa look good together! (The biggest mistake of the movies was putting a woman like her with "Aw, shucks ma'am Turner!") I love that Barbossa isn't a morning person, and I love even more that he reads! Can't wait for the next chapter!

I want to congratulate you on intriguing me. I'm kinda picky about what I read, as I have very little time to do any reading for fun. I paw through a dozen or more fics at a time before finding something that is worth my effort. this, doll, is worth the effort. you've done very well with the characterization! marvelous story line, so far. I cannot wait to see what else you do with this tale.

another note of consideration: I like how you've given this story a bit of a spin on the relationship between elizabeth and hector. they are actually quite similar, at their base natures---my own personal opinion. freedom lovers who wish to do what they want when they want it just because they want it. lol. awaiting your newest chapters, dear.
