This story is getting really interesting....There is only 1 thing I'm confused about.... I know she had a dormant alien in her chest at some point...is it still there or was it removed when they got to the clan?

Ooooh, I'm loving the revised "Alone" so much. Ali'shir and Isis just have a way of getting under each other's skin...which means some GOOD times in the future. Hee hee

Yes! It was good! Just hope Isis will lady it up a little sooner. Bad taste in attire is one thing, but dirty is another. I like her character just the same though.
Since Isis has been bedded recently will she fall to Jo'ien's charms so easily? Hope not.
Reluctant mates makes room for some fun I think. I could see Alshir or Isis teasing the other. Can't wait!

LOL. Keenage! We only bitched and knashed our teeth because it was such an awesome fic that we fell in love with the characters. That and we wanted to know what happened next. But we are greedy bee-otches like that! And as for how it is now. I still like it. And of course, can't wait to see the rest of it!

Ah, re-reading this one has been a treat as it reminds me why I enjoyed the original so much. It has been a while though since I read it so I am unable to compare and contrast the differences that much. IIRC, the introduction has completely changed because in the original, the story started off with Isis getting captured and A'rah and Ali'Shir saving her, where as now, the story begins after A'rah's death and Ali'Shir having to take her on as his charge.

I'm a bit confused when I try to picture Ali'Shir in terms of what he looks like though, and I had a problem with that in the original too. In one of the chapters here, it seems to imply that he's quite physically out of shape and weak, yet he seems to have no trouble taking on an Elder though. Also I haven't read yet how much different he is from a normal Yautja because he is half human (and I don't remember if Isis knows this yet or not).

Oh well, I still am greatly liking reading through this one again, and I cannot wait to see how it will end up differently than the original. :)
