Another wonderful story of yours! Heather's free-spirit character is well written and she makes a good match with James. I like how you were building their relationship. Cutler is so...agr! James should let Heather shoot him! As other of your amazing stories, it is sadly unfinished. I know it 's been a while but I hope that you will reconsider and finish it as well as your other stories too ( patriot, hook, another with Norrington)

From what I’ve read your a good writer but you do need to re-read your work for those little mistakes you missed. I enjoy your descriptions...but why is your character named 'heather' a lady in that time would not have been named Heather- A servant maybe but not a lady at the level to marry a respected commodore. She would be named something like Elizabeth or a biblical name. You need to get more in depth with the fact that its 1700th century English society a women behaving in that manner would not be acceptable, even Elizabeth swan in the movies would have been considered completely outrageous. Other than that I do like your characters spirit but she's a little unbelievable give her some faults. Your in danger of creating a Mary-sue which no one enjoys reading. Make her nose a little bit too big, give her some hobbies. Make the chapters longer.
