I found the concept of this story quite original. It is good to see a story about Tavington where he is already married. I loved Katherine's character and temper. The way you showed the problems in their maggiage and the constant intrusion of third parties was remarkable. They had a lot ups and downs during all this time but they managed to try to find a way to be together even it wasn't an easy task. In different circumstanses i think they would live a great love and happier life. Anyway Maddy would be a nice addition to the family if Tavington let his pride aside. Deep down he kind of like the little girl. I am very curious to see how they will manage to continue their lives and if they will ever be happy and have a normal life. Unfortunately, I don't think I will find out since it has been years since you last wrote a chapter. If ever you decide to finish the story I would be very happy!

WOW, jusrt wow. I can't believe how good this story is. I hope you update this story sometime soon. Tavington and his wife remind me of Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind.
