Oh, hon, you just made my night with your latest update. Had a fairly good day 'till a medical bill came, but this cheered me right up again. Thank you. I'll try to get Eyes of the Hunter up tonight on here in appreciation so you can read it if you haven't already. :)

Absolutely LOVED the scene where Tom'ika was trying on Rav's helmet. Had Isabet right on the money asking if she'd gotten into Rav's tihaar. *chuckles* I bet I'd walk around like I were drunk, too, if I wore a helmet with all sorts of high-tech views. I seem to recall that Karen Traviss said in I BELIEVE it was Sacrifice that even Mirta had to get used to wearing a buy'ce before she could walk around and not fall over in it.

Something tells me Tom'ika'll end up with her own set of beskar'gam by the end of the story, eh? *grin*

The tale of Amaterasu and Susanoo is one of my favorites. He sounds like quite the bully(like our dear Jang'ika, eh?), scaring his sister like that. And how they got Amaterasu-sama to show her light again. *giggle* Sounds like Rav and Isabet, with Tom'ika as Amaterasu. *pause* Ok, she and Jango are definitely NOT siblings. Japanese pantheon, not the Greek pantheon. ;P

lol, plan B for Bastard, I love it! Tomoe definitely loves animals(as her instant bond with Mird would show), but Jang'ika's one "animal" she could probably do without. Jango seems to be playing games with her indeed, making it seem like he doesn't know what's going on, but, well, he's running a 100-man army to train clones. He HAS to know what's going on and I'm betting he has his own spies(Skirata and Vau, perhaps?) in turn.

Tomoe/Rav/Isabet vs Jango/Vau/Skirata? Seems like a battle of the sexes. *grin*

I love your story, so take your time in writing it. I won't mind if you split this section up or not. Just keeps me waiting for more. Thanks for making my night! :)

Ah, poor Tomoe, starting to crack under that serene shell of hers. If not for Rav and Isabet, she'd probably be in a world of trouble and a lot more panic. I see Bob'ika let it slip a bit that he and Jango have been researching. Now she'll be suspicious. And I missed it the first time(O_O), but I see you've made reference to another Cuy'vul Dar, Llats Ward. Do I smell a cameo? ;)

Regarding the tales Tom'ika's been telling Boba(love the Japanese mythology, btw!), does this mean she's planning on "slaying the serpent" herself?

Jang'ika seems to be having a real thick moment if he doesn't get why Tomoe-chan's reacting the way she is. Either that or he doesn't care, the bastard. I suppose this means he gets to take advantage of her still having the ankle tracker on. I debate if that was indeed his intention. Good thing for Rav and Isabet. Clever girls. *grin*

And of course, we get to see even more of Tom'ika's history. Definitely more to the girl than even Fett's figured out by now. Mm, I wonder just what she could be hiding...

You're right about Jang'ika tossing her over his shoulder. Ah, but he likes it. Always wanting what he can't get, it seems, but then again, that's part of the game for him, isn't it?

I can try to post my fic here, but again, hopefully I'll get away with it as it's smut-free. Perhaps I can squeak it by on the fact that it alludes to the scene in Parttime Job chapter 14. Tomoe got along with Mird so well, I had to write from the mutt's point of view. I just didn't want to take too many liberties with your lovely story.

Can't wait for the next chapter! :)

Uhmm... Jango did it once in chapter 1, just after darting her. I bet he liked it back then. Now he would probably like it even more but the risk went up as well and he isn’t frustrated enough yet. But then... no risk, no fun...

Vau... oh well, it’s a little difficult to lure that withdrawn guy out in the spotlight again, but I am trying.

I can tell, it was like Christmas and Eastern on the same day when I came home! By all means, post it here as well, I’d love to put the link into the related chapter of Part Time Job. I’m sure there is enough smut in it for both point of views ;)

And now... let’s get even with the nightmares...

Mm...Jango-smut. Can never quite get enough of that. :9 Poor guy seems pretty darn frustrated, though.

Looks like Tom'ika can see right through Jango's intentions. Busywork just so he has an excuse to get her to his place for some action. The image of Jang'ika picking up Tom'ika and tossing her over his shoulder carrying her off like some sort of barbarian with a pretty prize is amusing, though. He WOULD like to do that, wouldn't he? ;)

Looks like Tomoe-chan's figured out how to keep a curious kid still. Vigorous training with a staff. Bet Bob'ika was glad for his homework after Tom'ika was done with him.

I agree that the only thing that WOULD scare a Mandalorian soldier...would be a Mando female. Tomoe-chan's pretty smart, sticking near Rav and Isabet. I don't think either of our Mando ladies are stupid to not see the tension between Tom'ika and Jang'ika, especially Rav. I imagine Rav gets enough proof of what's going on, she'd probably pound Jango herself for it.

I still say there's something of a Jango/Tomoe/Vau triangle going on. Just dunno who to root for, Jang'ika or Vau. They're both sexy bastards. XD

And I've got more than just a review tonight for you. Got a story of my own for you, inspired by Parttime Job. Had to put it on ff.net, though, wasn't sure if I could get away with posting it here since it's non-smut. Hope you like it and don't mind my borrowing Tomoe for a brief moment. The scene was too amusing for me to pass up.

No nightmares for the nightmare, just a lemon for Jango... >:)

Mm...Vau is such a sexy bastard...

I think there's a bit of something going on between Vau and Tomoe, excluding what happened towards the end of the previous fic. There's definitely attraction on Vau's part and sexual tension between the two. If anyone could break through his icy heart, it's her, likely because they're so much alike.

And I really think Tomoe has a chance at becoming Mando. She's got the strength and will for it and is quite good at hiding it behind a demure outer appearance. Sure, she prefers not to fight if she doesn't have to, especially against guys like Jango, but she can hold her own if she has to. I think Jang'ika's leg proved that. ;)

I'm suspecting that Tomoe-chan is of samurai descent, judging by the description given in Jango's reasearch. I was kinda thinking that at the end of the last fic, in the fight between Tomoe and Jango. Even so, there's still something more to her. She's not shown everything just yet, of course, not to Jang'ika and the Mandalorians, and like a good author, you haven't revealed it all to readers yet, either. :)

Jang'ika also seems to have a bit of a cruel streak in him, using Tomoe's disgrace against her like that to get his own way. I don't think she's going to let him get away with something like that. They're both so very stubborn that he'll keep trying to get his way with her and she'll keep proving she'll do what it takes to do otherwise.

At least Skirata seems to be entertained by Tomoe's ability to keep up with the others, and perhaps...a bit of a spy for Jango now that he can't keep an eye on Tomoe personally 24/7?

Far as I can tell, you're not taking the Cuy'vul Dar out of character. Skirata, Vau, they're all written very well, and with Isabet, the only thing anyone knows of her is from what's said from the action figure of her that came with that group package being sold on the Star Wars shop. Gave her a good personality separate from Rav's at least. I like it. :)

As far as a smut plug-in, that'll be worth the wait once you get to it. Only question is, mm, will it be Jango or Vau? XD

Yet another good chapter, will be waiting for the next, so enjoy the shig and Sacrifice in the sun! :)

I hope I’m not defiguring the Cuy’val Dar too much.... I mean, we know Rav from “True Colors” a little better, but I couldn’t find any details about Isabet, so I’m going to take some freedoms while I unfold Tomoe’s background... no spoilers, just: long way to go.

I don’t think she does it for the sole purpose to rub it in Fett’s face, but I definitly agree on the effect on his *sort*. Apropos juicy... sorry I made no use of the possibilities in this weekend’s chapter. Among other business and research I just couldn’t get into the right mood. I felt the update was more important than a little smut plug-in I can drop in any time later.

I hope you enjoy anyway, cause I’m out now in the sun... with Traviss’ “Sacrifice” an piece of cake and a nice cup of shig...

Hmpf, very close... I need to sweep my place for bugs as well!

Jango's equal? Nay, I don't think so... Tomoe's combat-education and experience is too narrow and not practical enough for that, the guy has 30+kg of solid muscle on her, he has all the stuff, the nerves and he is by no means stupid... just a little arrogant and unpracticed to asocial ...and she's good exploiting weaknesses.

But without rules, Jango Fett would certainly be the last one standing.

It sounds to me like Tomoe-chan is the daughter of a samurai line. At least she seems to be making a few friends. Glad to see even more of the Cuy'vul Dar around. Was wondering when you'd get to Isabet. :)

Very interesting backstory on Tomoe and her homeworld, how they had to learn to defend themselves against superior tech and survive.

There's definitely more to her than there seems if she can stand there and not flinch while Priest chucks a blade past her ear at that range. *grin* I also debate if she's starting up flirting with Priest on top of possibly Vau as well, just to get back at Fett and make him jealous. He seems that sort...

And I see that not everybody sees Vau as a gentleman. *chuckle*

I missed your note last week until after I had already posted my review, but I did catch this week's before I read. Thank you for continuing the fic and for such a wonderful story. It's so well written, I don't mind the wait at all. Waiting just makes it that much juicier when you DO update. :)

I agree that if there were no rules, Jango would probably kick Tomoe's butt in a fight, although Tomoe-chan's got her own skills. Where Jang'ika has his brawn and combat experience, Tomoe's got the brains and wit to keep up with him(and with Priest, for that matter, lol).

Again, good job, and can't wait for the next chapter! :)

PS: I did read those two fics, so thanks for the URLs! Oh, and if you'd ever wanna email me, email's kianataversmereel@yahoo.com. Take care! :)

Of course I didn’t forget you... I was writing bits and pieces all along, but could not post without a definite story line that ensures continuity. I’m afraid it’s not as compact and diary-like as the first part... Since they brought Jango to a skittering halt in chapter 16, the story becomes an assortment of scenes. If I describe every minute, I‘d bore you to death for sure.

I’m aware that it is anticlimatic, but I hope that my „daily life“ scenes make sense. As I see it, Tomoe defended her reputation some but she still has to proove that she can pull her own weight on Kamino.

Yay, for once you didn’t manage a peek into my script before I posted, but please keep on telling be what you think!

P.S.: In case I let you wait again, here’s something you might enjoy:
