I am sorry, but this review will have to be quick and short due to the hurricane's imminent arrival. I hate leaving short reviews, but I have little time. Anyway, I love this story very much. This review has been a long time coming, and though it took a while for you to update, it has been well worth the wait. Everything about it is gorgeous and unique. There are only a few errors grammar-wise, but that is it. Everything else is amazing!

Sorry so short...I will leave a longer review after the hurricane is over! Keep writing!

Ah! Wonderful! It's so great to see you posting again. I'm so glad that you are able to continue this wonderful story, and I hope that things have gotten much better for you since you went on hiatus a while back. :)

I really enjoy characters like Nix, tough-as-nails women who can handle almost anything thrown at them. I must admit I was very happy with your interpretation of Paya. It was very detailed and descriptive and I could really picture her in my head. I curious of course why she was there and how Nix can see her. Well, I can't wait for what will happen next. :)

love this and love your writing. the atmosphere is perfect really gets me in the mind of the main character. great back ground info compliments the character nicely.

all in all im excited to read the rest of this story lol :)

Seriously, I'm amazed that you were able to make it a point to continue on with this story even with all that has happened around you. Time in the hospital and a wildfire? I hope you are ok. While I do not know when/if you'll be able to continune on with this (again, hopefully things will be ok) story, I promise that you'll have my undivided attention whenever you may post something again.

Wow. I am surprised you even had the presence of mind to remember this story with something as terrible a fire threatening you and yours. Don’t get me wrong, I am glad to have it. Really glad. And I look forward to the next chapter, which I sense will have a big ol’ chunk of Blade/Nix relationship building (I wonder if the rest of the Clan would think it's such a good idea, hehe), but I am still surprised. I hope all is well and wait patiently for you to continue with this well written tale.

Amazing. You have truly got an incredible story going here. I'm really enjoying the fleshing out of the characters, in particular Nix. You do a great job of really describing the pain that she has been through, and how it has shaped her life, what's left of it anyway. I'm really excited to see where you take things from here. I'll be looking forward to future chapters indeed.
