Really good. You should do a sequel to it.

I don't understand why you'd be upset about 'out of character' comments. If the characters wouldn't do what you want them to do, why make it a fanfic? The point of fanfic, to me, is to capture the character of the participants and explore their realistic response in unrealistic situations. Or at least non-canon situations. I mean, we are drawn to a fandom because of the characters. If other fans dislike your portrayal of the characters, you're going to get that sort of feedback. if you plan ahead of time to make the characters OOC, then you should be fully prepared to see that sort of response from your readership. It shouldn't bother you to be told that you're indeed doing what you intended to do from the outset.
