Y'know, admittedly it's a bit strange to have these two act so lovey-dovey with each other, but other than that, I'd say they're kept well in character. And I love how I can clearly imagine the kind of atmosphere described in the beginning.

This little ficlet goes to show that good stories don't necessarily have to be 24 page novels with meandering sentences.
