Amazing. I am new to this site, so my review is for the entire story and not any particular chapter. I absolutely loved it and hope you are still writing! Thank you for this amazing story.

I have been absolutely astounded by this story, every step of the way. Your characterizations were dead on every single minute and the endless creativity of your plotlines give a bench mark to all fan fiction writers! I can't wait to start 'In The Hollow of the Heart'. Keep up the AMAZING work!

Ahhhh, thank you so much for finishing the story! I really did enjoy all of the twists and turns and the enduring love between these two. And I hope you won't retire from fan fic for too long. Hopefully you will bring Hector back out to play. If not you will be missed!

Oh, what a heartbreaking End. I felt almost the same sadeness like at the end of the movie AWE. But different, in the movie there were two lovers seperated with an uncertain future. The "easteregg" uncovered for us what that meant for Elizabeth : she settled down at land, waiting for her husband. Instead of this, at the end of your story there is only Will with an uncertain future, staying alone, he lost his love. This is no less sad, but at least Elizabeth choose another path, a life with Barbossa, a thoroughbred Pirate, this one, Elizabeth dreamt since her childhood. We all know this life is more suitable for our untamed Elizabeth ( and finally Barbossa gets his pirate bride he had been waiting for so long ( didn´t mentioned that Geoffrey in the "making of" , too ?... ) !
nevertheless i really regret it as well, that this is the end of the story, but any good book needs to come to an end.
I really enyojed this story much and now i´m glad to read it as a whole from the beginning, once again.
I would be glad to read more from you, of course with these brilliant in character Barbossa and Elizabeth ( and of course in character Norrington, Will, Pintel, Ragetti, Tia and so on...!!). I hope that this is not the last Barbossabeth story posted from you !!

Thank you for sharing your story with us! I have loved every moment I have spent reading it and can see each action in my mind's eye. The concept is very original and I am thankful to see a Barbossa who is true to character both in heart and body and in the Disney story and outside of it (Elizabeth's character was great too - I'm more of a Barbossa fan though ). I hope you keep writing as I would like to read more from you. I know that this has been a major undertaking, but please believe that it was well worth it.
Best to you!

I decided to read this without my noisy children, at rest, with a glass of fine wine !
Yesss ! What a great relief ! Will expected Sparrow as her lover, but Elizabeth cried out "Barbossa !" and Will´s dumbfounded face after that... he,he... like in the movie ! Poor Will, but i hope this will simplify his decision to rescue and free his father Bootstrap on the Dutchman ? what comes next....
I expected that she´ll swing over to the dutchmen as well, but there is no longer a reason for that because her lover, Hector, remains on the Pearl...
I believe there is no better moment for her to remember the past, after she cried out Hector´s name... great plot ! And finally the kiss *melts away*......so imbued with lyricism...and unrestrained, a pirate´s kiss...*goosebumps*...
I don´t know if it´s allowed to write it here, but one day i watched the history channel hd, after the promo trailer, there are pause scenes, if to say so, you see a biker on a harley, about 50 years or older, with a slightly grey full beard, he wears a modern motocycle outfit, has modern sun glasses on and he is pulling off his black motocycle helmet. After that his long hair is falling over his shoulders and than he is slightly shaking his head and his hair in such a tempting manner, that i dropped my jaw... then my daughter cried out : "Barbossa! on a motocycle...! Isn´t it ?" I said, " Yes honey, he lookes very similar to him..." that scene remained me at that Hector on a Harley from your story ! And now i can´t get enough from that pause scene from that channel, he, he.... sorry for bad english but i decided to tell that...

Thank you again for another spell bounding chapter. As far as critizing any of your "nautical knowledge", I have none either so I wouldn't even notice! But I would say that the dialogue and imagery is so great that no one would care anyway. When I'm reading your story I always feel like I'm there in the heart of it all, the battles, the arguments, the passion.... it sweeps you away. And that of course is to your credit.
Can't wait to indulge in another great chp!

Ok, this chap made a roller coaster ride with my feelings. Hector was in such depressed mood, oh no... was afraid he makes harakiri after all. But it was so funny because every time i expected something happend exactly like in the movie, but no, there were little alterations and different reactions from those who know the past and those don´t know, like Will Turner. He mostly repeats all what he´d said in the movie... he he, but we know it better, like Ragetti, wenn he said: hey, the last time it was my part! And this time Hector said it in the correct way because he is IN LOVE, wow...What a great relief when Elizabeh dared to speak with huffy Hector about the last night and her behaviour at the Brethren court. I really like the description of Tia or Calypso, when she bursts into sparkeling sea water and coloured coral fishes, this time. Could really imagine it !

I love the describtion of sleeping Hector laying down between the sheets and the thoughts of Elizabeth when she gazed down on him. Her thoughts shifting between duty and the need to touch, to kiss him. No doubt, if she´d lost her composure, she is not longer able to lead the brethren courd or to command properly the Pearl in that battle.
The meeting of the brethren courd in the early morning is great, too. The appearance and behaviour of the different pirate lords, each with his own accent and at least what ship belong to them, is really well done. I grinned at Jocards ever need to cut one´s tounge out of the throat. The Describtion is very close to the movie AWE, but you made your own way with it, because Hector and Elizabeth changed with their secret meeting the past and everything is open now.
I don´t know and don´t care how often i read chapter 29 and 30 again and again. That meeting is so touching, sexy, believable and breathtaking ( I don´t know what i would give, if it would possible to change role with Elizabeth and have such an experience with that man...) I love the thoughts from Hector in that sentence : Had he remained aboard then and spent an evening in thoughtful contemplation, perhaps she’d never have married Will Turner.... that made my heart ache, poor Hector. The different thougts of them from each others point of view and the little misunderstandigs around them, because Hector and Elizabeth made their own experiences in the last few hours after walking through the mirror. I hope that this time she dare to cry " BARBOSSA ! MERRY ME...!!! or " BARBOSSA ! I LOVE YOU !! " ( or at least forget that damnit " marry us... " )I´m dying of couriosity.
This story comes to an end soon and it´s bittersweet in all matters because there is ( and had ever been ) a huge lack of barbossabeth stories on german communities or sites and it got rather silence around english barbossabeth communities, as well. I´ll miss your story and those updates that sweetened up my life.
