Oooh YAY! JACK IS BACK! I wonder if Jack will want to strike a deal with Caylpso to raise the Pearl from the depths again?

And Jack is back! I love it! I wouldn't have been surprised if Jack and Lizzie *had* met before; she met him first the first time around. But it'll be awfully fun watching him charm her (or try to!) this time, and seeing my two favourite pirates needling each other. I wonder if Jack knows anything about the mysterious villains...
Can't wait for the next chapter!! :-D

I am really enjoying your story. You've got me hooked and can hardly wait for the next chapter. I have spent all weekend reading what you have posted so far. Your writing is very enjoyable and I can see the characters in motion from your descriptions. I was a little confused about their physical positions in the "how to ride a motorcycle" scene, but otherwise everything is quite clear. Like Grace's Barbossa in "Parlait" and "Salvage", your Barbossa in my mind's eye is Geoffrey Rush's Barbossa with 15 pounds of added muscle. In other words, Barbossa has been using his bowflex . I also like the fact that you described him as having a foreskin, something some other writers who mention Barbossa's physical attributes don't seem to realize.
Please write more soon.

Aww, Captain and Mate. Glad our Hec's okay, and glad that Jen reacted as expected. Can't wait to see how Elizabeth unravels the mystery here, and how more of her past begins to drip into her present.

Another great chapter! I am really interested in the fact that Jen is very suspicious of the quick-healing wound, but Elizabeth is just curious. In my mind I am picturing this playing out in so many different ways... Can't wait for more!

That old hag deserved to die after shooting our dear Hector. Is his crew gonna take him to Beth anyway, to patch his wound?

I never mentioned, but I love the way you turn Barbossa's phrases. They're so reminiscent of his old speech, but with a modern twist. Very fitting.
And he loves her! And he told her, and I love that it wasn't entirely deliberate, just sort of slipped out, but she caught the small distinction - not "luv" but "love."
Such intrigue with Marilyn! Oh, whoever are these interlopers, and what is in the works?
The hat feathers tickling Elizabeth! So her former life is beginning to creep into her subconscious memory. And poor Hector, fretting over her possible memories of him as a monster. There's so much to love about this story; I can't wait to see more!

Hells bells, woman, that was amazing! Happy Birthday indeed! Can't wait to peek inside Hector's mind to see how he feels about finally claiming his prized pirate bride!
