Loved it!

Hi Keen,

After all the kind things you had to say about my story, I just had to read yours.

Nice job letting Uhura one-up Kirk at the bar with those three little whispered words. I could totally picture that priceless look on his face. And her Shatneresque delivery! Love it.

I also like the premise that there was an emotional connection first and they didn't have sex until later. But far and away, my favorite line is:

"As her mouth twisted hungrily over his, it suddenly dawned on him he was in the midst of a sexual overture."

That was 100% Spock and so endearing. Keep at it.

Just saw the movie and came in search of fic... this is the first so far and I can only hope I find more b/c this was just what I was looking for and surpassed my expectations... thanks so much for creating and sharing this!

really good characterizations all around. very thoughtful but also very pssionate. very evocative descriptions of their frustrations and uncertainties.

Ah this was great. I love this pairing but I like the younger versions even more wild than the elders. You did a fantastic job and I really enjoyed reading this.

Loved it. i have often thought more about the ramifications of the mind meld action, particularly with regards to love and sex and emotional honesty, and I think you nailed it. Give us chapter 2!
