I'm glad you're sticking to your story. :) I Always enjoy reading about Hector (we all knew he wasn't as bad as all that, right? Just misunderstood, is all, and needful of a woman as can appreciate his particular appeal!). We know that Bella sees that in him, but if she is attracted, tell us why...is it those wonderful sea-blue eyes? The sense of humour? The soft brogue? Mmmmm....okay, that's why I like him. LOL! I look forward to the next update, please keep it coming!

Awww. I love this story. Ever since I read my first Barbossa/Beth, and then Adrift, my second, I have taken a shine to dear Barbossa. There aren't enough stories about him in my opinion. ^.^ You have a wonderful three chapters, and I am eager to read more. How sweet Bella is to want to help the captain and crew be rid of their curse. The way Barbossa is with monkey Jack makes me laugh. Today, he would be one of those people that dress up their dogs and take them to salons and stuff. We know Barbossa is a major hard-ass, but in 'At Worlds End', in the very end of the movie, when he is talking to monkey Jack, and feeding him a peanut, and he is cooing to him and referring to himself as daddy, I die laughing everytime I see that part. LOL. And Pintel and Ragetti, I just adore the two of them. They are two of my favorite characters from the movie, as well as Mr. Gibbs, Jack (of course...I'm definitely a Jack girl) and Barbossa. They all have such marvelous chemistry. I cannot wait to read more. ^.^

I'm always pleased to see Hector Barbossa fic...not nearly enough of it! I hope you plan to keep writing; this character has an awful lot of story in her, I think. Don't short change yourself in terms of details, though - the more you give us, the more we'll feel as though we know her. Be expansive, let that inner view out. We want to see everything.
