Wow, just wow. I just read your chapters in one long sitting and have to say it's left me breathless! I SO can't wait for the next chapter, to see how this continues! Please write and post more soon. Really soon :D

Wow, I'm swept away by this story and literally....can't....wait....for the next chapter! Awesome all round....I'll be looking in every day for the next part with baited breath lol.

I wasn't having a good day, but then I saw that you updated and by the end of the chapter, I felt so much better. So, thank you very much.
I love how subtle everything is. Nothing world-shattering has really happened, nothing action-movie like, you know? And yet, it's all these little things that really make this story. The slight arch of an eyebrow, the ever-so-softly brush of a hand; it's these details that are amazing, and I know when I reread this story, which I know I will, I'll notice things I didn't the first time. These little things keep building, slowly adding to the plot, giving it those fine intricacies that's going to build to something world-shattering, perhaps action-movie like, or at the very least a deep storyline that will change all these characters.
If I wasn't hooked by chapter one, I know for sure I am now. Keep it up.

Man alive, it's late and I've read all of this fic to date. Blown away. I love how you make Spock so vulnerable and still... Spocky. And your McCoy dialogue makes me laugh soo much!
I am super keen to see how this turns out, if a little worried. It feels so dark and sad, poor Uhura. I always feel sorry for how she is treated in these fics. She needs lovin' too. But anyway, seriously love your writing. Can't wait to read the next part, I am refreshing the Star Trek page with anticipation.

I can see exactly what Raine is trying to do. It's in the title! Self-sacrifice! Noooo! I'm not worried about Spock because I know that he can tell his father where to shove his match-making, but Jim! Jim's going to do some self-sacrificing. I can just see it. Maybe he and Luke should trade notes. *rageragerage*
Urgh, Uhura! Another piece to Jim's self-sacrificing puzzle, no doubt! Don't give in! Be selfish Jim! Do eeet!
In between waiting for updates I've started rereading Forbidden for the... fourth time. Gets better every time I read through it! :D
Anyways, this chapter has had been at the edge of my seat. Your writing tends to do that. :P I have great confidence in you, though.

Another fantastic chapter. I loved all the fluffy romance. I love how Jim is with spock. Some people mentioned that he seemed out of character, but even a normally confident person can be shy around someone they truly care about. Whose opinion matters to them. Its nice to see a different side of the jim we all know and love. Bones is just spot on. Love the possesive Spock. Loved the long chapter. Cant wait for the next one.
