Chapter 3:

Thanks for the fast update! I get so crazy when I find a story that I luv like this one and then I go and get hooked on it but then the author never updates again after drawing me in. *** sends you a big hug for updating so quickly ***

WOW, I didn't see that coming.... so Raines wanted Jim to kill somebody when he was just a 16 yr old kid?.... and worse seduced him... that wasn't what I expected... was that kind of like stolkholms syndrome (sp.?)

I just thought maybe Jim had rejected him, maybe embarrased his ego and put him in his place. Then Raines would want to own him body and soul. The story summary mentioned Jim rejected his advances when he was just a teen so I didn't expect that little surprise.

This was really a great chapter. You nailed it from Spock's POV too.

I still can't wait to see what else Raines wants Jim to do for him.

Onward ho! Update chapter 4 soon, PLEASE.

This is shaping up very nicely! Your portrayals of the three gentlemen have been excellent thus far, even with the touchy business of Spock and strong emotion. I'm eager to see where you move next, and how much you can work into the story with such a tight timeline right off the plate. Eager for chapter three and beyond.

Beautiful as always! I love the possessiveness you gave Spock. It does actually make a lot of sense for the Vulcans to be possessive by nature, they were passionate warriors after all before the whole Logic thing... But yeah, can't wait to meet Lord Raines and see how close Spock gets to killing him! The future is looking exciting indeed! Just don't get to caught up in this awesomeness, I'm still anxiously awaiting for an update on Forbidden too! Meh, I'll take any updates from you though, it's all just too good!!

I was beside myself with happiness that you'd updated so quickly! This is sadly something I find to be quite a challenge myself. At any rate, OOC or otherwise, I really do love a possessive Spock! Though I'm torn about the obliviousness of Kirk, as part of me screams he is a genius and should be more than used to the idea of people finding him attractive thus he should realize Spock, in his own way, is trying to lay some kind of tentative stake of interest in him but at the same time I can understand that maybe he's simply oblivious because he's not expecting that sort of reaction out of Spock even if he does want it. But part of me still says that if he was hoping for the half-Vulcan to return his feelings then he'd have to be looking for tiny signals to go off of and notice that Spock is throwing out huge ones. Oh well, either way, I like this quite a bit and am looking forward to more possessive Spock! There's nothing quite as hot as a hot and bothered and jealous Vulcan! And McCoy's so... well McCoy!

Again, the writing was brilliant! I'm waiting for the next installment with bated breath!
