I am a comic book fanfiction writer but I have been known to write on comic movies here on aff.net. I was reading your stories and I just wanted to tell you that I think you are one of the few good writers that I have come across on aff.net. It would be a shame to not have a conclusion to this story.

I enjoy both this story and your first. Incredibly engaging, great plot, and fantastic characterization. I hope to see more.

Oh .. my .. god.

I LOVE the original story, Somewhere Between, and I think your characterization of the characters is SPOT on! They all but pop off the page as I'm reading, and I can see them interact. Your story, in fact, was the only slash story I EVER recommended to a non-slash fan to read (usually, that doesn't go so well *chuckles* but even she was impressed with your writing!). When I saw that there might be a sequel to the original story, I jumped to reading it .. and was very saddened to see that it only has one chapter (so far). The thought that something might happen to John is .. heartbreaking! And I would love, love, love to see you continue this story so I can see how it turns out for the two of them.

Please? *puppy eyes*

Your first story of these two was great, and i was disappointed when it ended. When i saw the comment about the sequel, it was a happy thrill. Please continue this, it seems as though it would be as good as, if not better, then the first.

Ohh man. This seems really interesting.
Massive potential and such.

I'd love to see you continue, please.

First off, I -loved- the story Somewhere between, it kept me in a mix between amused and intriuged during the whole story and I was quite sad to see it ending, I had so many questions, like what happens to "The Society" and does Ellis keep his job as Hellboy and Johns liason (spelling?). Then I had a slightly intresting idea of The Society group living in the bureau. Just a thought. Now I think the first chapter of the Sequel, between the lines started pretty well and I would loveeee to read the next one.

^^ what Gilt said. Another chapter would help make up my mind too.

Well, it certainly is interesting. I truly enjoyed the first story, and you're writing is still amazing. I'm not really sold on this plot line yet, but intrigued enough to wonder what you will do with it. No matter what, I will still be a devoted fan. Maybe write another chapter along this plot line and see what happens. Even if it doesn't work right, it might make what's needed to "fix" it more obvious.

So, those last three sentences have thrown me into such a tizzy that I severely doubt my ability to coherently comment on the rest of the chapter. Seriously, it's five in the morning for me and my ability to think logically and control my knee-jerk emotional response to that sort of bombshell is shot to hell. For the love the the Creator, I'm shedding tears in my sudden panic and worry and glee(but that's only there because you're writing a sequel) as five thousand unfinished words streak through my brain. It's obnoxious.

However, I'm so fucking excited you've even CONSIDERED writing the sequel that nothing I say can truly express it. I loved the banter amongst the three on the mission, so amusing and it built such a solid character concept.

Excellent point, if rather disheartening, on the effects of Lycanthrope verses Hellboy being demon blooded and the respective rates of aging. How John's life is increased severely, but when placed alongside a person who doesn't seem to age period, the reality and inevitable conclusion simply have to be acknowledged.....I have to admit that I'm hoping something will occur in the story to change this and allow John's life to be even MORE outrageously long and youthful.....What can I say, I love my couples to pack on years together.

I love how you write both John and HB ruminating on the love they feel for one another, I'm always able to feel the character while often treated to some of your wit, but at the same time it's poignant and so unbelievably sincere.

HB and John's shower scene was, as usual, delicious and made my toes curl.

I can't even comment on the ending, it's still terrifying and thrilling me in equal parts.
