Wow. I started reading this story with a cautious attitude. The Barbossa and Elizabeth pairing seemed unlikely, but I kept reading. The more I reward, the more I warmed to the concept of the story, and by the end, I was disappointed that there wasn't more. You captured Barbossa perfectly, so much so that I could actually hear Geoffrey Rush in my mind, speaking the lines. You kept both Barbossa and Elizabeth in character very well. I loved it! Thank you. :)

Your story is amazing from start to finish. Barbossa and Elizabeth are my favorite POTC pairing. The tale ended so beautifully yet so sad. I do hope you continue with what happened in another story. They deserve to be happy together. Thanks once again for such a terrific read.

Ouw !! The labour are described so vivid, that i could feel Elizabeth´s pain as well. But despite of this the best and surprising scentence is Barbossas´s statement about his knowledge about goats, LOL !!
The next part leaving the ship is a kind of bittersweet. It seems that this might be a farewell for ever and i almost believed it ! - but wasn't there something ? Yes : the fouth part of the movie, "On stranger tides" and we all know Barbossa will be the hero at the end, he will survive, he only lost the pearl again, but that doesn´t matter so much, he got an almost equvalent, the "Queen Anne´s revenge". I find the epilouge perfectly fits the gap between " In the hollow of the heart" to "On Stranger tides"... so well done !!
I hope you will write on any other story and hope it is barbossabeth ! Thank you so much for sharing and completing this great story ! Please write more...

Please write more! This desperately needs a sequel, their tale isn't over yet! I don't mind how long it takes, but please write a sequel!
Always an admirer of your work. Fantastic ending!

I'm sorry it took so long for me to review. I wish there was a way that I could receive an Email when the story is updated.

Thanks! Have a great 2012!

HOW COOL IS THAT, a 20 years younger crew and a 12 years old Jack Sparrow ! Oh Jack, poor Jack, ha, ha, greedy as ever ! Need to read that more than twice, what great fantasie ! That would be a good plot in the new movie, maybe with computer animation and a good mask, they could manage that !? I would like to see that...
"The morning after" is the last part of the 3 reviews or look-backs of Hector´s and Elizabeths first encounter. I like that because it runs like a red thread through the story. Very touching scentence from Barbossa is : "Ah, lass. If that be so, then t’was a far sweeter end to me life than I deserved". I think that´s typical for Barbossa.

That was a real complicated discussion in a twisted situation: what to do with the kid ? Is he able to stay on a pirate vessel with all that dangers and is the crew able to deal with that ? Many questions to solve and all must be well considered....an authentic discussion between Hector and Elizabeth. Such discussions leads to frustration and what is the best against it: yes, that love-making-scene is fierce, short and hot ( Holy...oh dear ! nice scene ! ) that´s is how i like Hector, he is a bit ferocious... and that´s how wie love him !

It was not very kind from me that i didn´t review so long, but i´m back now and my greed for barbossabeth is bigger than ever. So here we go :
I was completely surprised that the intruder was Bootstrap Bill Turner. I expected anyone but not Bill Turner ! I fully can understand his anger, from Bill Turners point of view his relationship to Barbossa is a bit "strained" so to say. So i must smirk when he said to Elizabeth :" Strange company you keep "....can´t stop smirking...Ha ha and the reaction of him when he find´s out that the kid is not his grandchild...priceless ! But also sad for him.
I love this because it is a kind of reconciliation for each other, i mean Elizabeth and Bill Turner. So it is better when he takes the heart with it and Elizabeth is free now. Maybe this is a sign that she is really free without keeping that heart.
