I appreciate Jim's awareness of Spock Prime's circumstances; both alone in general and specifically from the person he loved while being faced with another version of that person..... convoluted, isn't it? I have to admit to being an utter fangirl and purring at the words "claim" and "mate". Something about them is just so fundamental and non partial, it doesn't matter if you're different sexes or not, it doesn't matter whether a man or woman is doing the pursuing, all that matters is how much you want and desire them.

This cliff-hanger upset me in a most vulnerable spot, the pants.

I've never been a fan of Star Trek. But the new Jim and Spock...hmm this has alot of potential. You make me actually want to read more of this story. And yes I have watched the new Star Trek movie...and yes it was AWESOME! New Spock RULES, can't wait to read more of this story :D!
