Good God. That is so amazing. Not a single line is out of place. It's astonishingly accomplished, how deftly you stoke the feverish tension into desperate agony, how feral and contagiously mindless the coupling is. The way you break Jim is a piece of art-your description of 'mental claws...holding him down' - what a wondrous bit of imagery. I unashamedly LOVE this fic as it's everything I could ask for, and I just know I'll revisit it very soon! Thank you so much, thank you. Brilliant.

THAT is why Pon Farr is such a famous plot device. I adored the sensory expression, particularly fro Kirk's vantage point. The dominance and submission play was delicious and intense without becoming unbelievable given Kirk's unfamiliarity and personal qualms over that kind of power exchange. I love Spock as a dominating force of nature.

I really liked this story especially with Spock being the one in charge and with him taming Jim....it made for a brilliant read. I loved that Jim had to totally submit to Spock before he could get his satisfaction. Hope you write more like this story.
