I find it to be quite disappointing that you are no longer working on this amazingly well written story. Also, I do not agree with the comment above that attempted to point out a plot hole, as I believe you explained it rather clearly. The problem was not so much that Jim is human, but that he is a male and therefore would be most likely viewed as a threat rather than a potential mate by Spock's primal side... In any case, I wish to convey my utmost enjoyment of the half of the story that you did complete. I can relate to many, many of the emotions expressed, and even a bit to the dynamics of their relationship. Perhaps I shall come up with a happier ending in my head for them, one to counter the rather unfortunate result of my own such circumstances... Again, thank you for the enjoyable read. Live long and prosper.

I know you must not be working on this story any longer (and i'm usually one of the lazy slobs who can't be bothered to write a review even when i truly enjoyed a fanfiction) but i thought that i just HAD to let you know.... i am so utterly enthralled by your story!! <3 It is portrayed so realistically, and you are such a superb writer, that i have re-read this story at least five separate times in the course of three days. I even cried in the chapter where kirk saw spock off to the colony, that's how great your story is! I'm new to the spock/kirk ship, but i'm no stranger to fanfiction, and this is definitely one of the best stories i have ever read -- and by far the best for spock/kirk. If you ever feel the writing bug again, PLEASE consider updating this story; it's a gem!

I truely enjoyed your writing! You've got a lovely grasp of the characters, and the dicotemy between what they want and the reality of their lives is exquisite torture. Kudos! Hope you'll continue to rake them over the coals in the future!

It's interesting, but has one MAJOR plot hole. Amanda went through Ponn Farr with Sarek, and did fine. It's mentioned in more than one of the novels. So there would be no reason for Jim not to go through it with Spock.

I'm really enjoying this so far! You have a gift for layered, complex dialogue and angst. I find their predicament compelling and can't wait to finish the tale. Incidentally, you can't use the word 'lowly' as an adverb. It's illogical to do so, as Spock would say! 'Lowly' is an adjective meaning 'humble'. Great work, anyway.

This chappie seemed deep to me somehow. Brain wheels just a turning away. So complicated and yet love it so much!

OMG, they finally get a little action to ease their frustrations if only a little. But still it was quite delicious.

Hmm, I can't help but think something else is happening to them. But maybe that's just me :).
