I'm not surprised to hear that the story is older than the posting made it seem, the thought that has obviously gone into it is amazing. The only other stories i have read that has conveyed post apocalyptic world so well were the novels "False dawn" and "Dinner at deviants palace" your story has a good sense of the difficulties of trying to rebuild society and civilization just being a veneer for many. It will be a good novella (or novel, should you choose to take it that far far) when you change it to put your OC in. You've developed a world that has its own ruled, and they feel reasonable, not made arbitrarily for the convenience of the plot you want, but more like what might actually occur.

Smashing, my dear! Just finished 'Within Dreams' while waiting for chapter 19 and it was awesome as well! I loves me some character torture....heh heh heh....

Its hard to believe its been little more than a month, your story has come along so well! So very impressive, jareth and Sarah are themselves with their history, but the new angles make them quite almost OC. Bringing out new facets or preparing to slide this situ over to your new characters? Either way its a very engaging story. I look forward to reading more.

I am so excited to find a new story by you!!! I've spent the last hour or so getting caught up on this one. I love post-apocaliptic stuff! I've read both Last Resort and Within Dreams. I love how you characterize Jareth. This looks really good and I wait in pins and needles for each new chapter as it comes out!!
