Yay! You brought back Elizabeth! I was starting to miss her. And about the slashy thing, it was great! I don't care what anyone says, a little bit of detail can go a long way. It's goo to be able to use an active imagination while reading. well it was really good and still pretty steamy despite it's length so, great job. Keep writing, you're doing great. [I know, how many time can I say great? Sorry 'bout that =) ] Well, good luck!

I think I like Bootstrap just fine, as long as he's not around Norrington. Perhaps the Norrington-ness rubs off on him, eh? It's creepy. But thank you for no wigs ^_- That'd be a sight too much to handle. (And good explanation for his name, sounds plausible. Though why'd someone want to be named after their shoes...)
I love that song. I find myself singing bits of it now and then... Got pirates on the brain. But I'm curious... how did Elizabeth know it when she was a child? Or at all really, if she's the governor's daughter one would thinkshe wouldn't be around the type to know something like that... Insight?

Anyhow, back to topic; the chapter was another fine addition, if not just for the wonderful moment of Jack/Will! Superb! ^_^V

I love your story! I'm eager to see what's going to happen next. Your story has a great twist and I can't wait for the confrontation between Jack and Will's father.
Is Elizabeth going to have an important part in the story? I just think that, with a bit of manipulation on Bootstrap's part, it could make another interesting twist... but that's just me. I just think it could be interesting to see Will being torn and not knowing what to do...
Anyway, great work! ^_^

I like how you've portrayed Bootstrap, he may seem a bit too Norrington-y (as you put it) but I think if he wasn't, his... antaganism towards Jack and Wills relationship would be be quite as believable. Although I would rather Bootstrap support his sons decisions.. some parents... tsk tsk.
Jack and Will are really cute together, and while I'm all for hot sex scenes, I like the way you're handling it. Makes us use our imaginations.
Elizabeth and Norry back together, I suppose that's to be expected, though now I question her taste in men.
what else.. oh! I love Anamarie, someone has to keep Jack in line, and she's perfect for it!

Another great acheivement with this chapter. Although, I'd have to agree, Bootstrap is too Norrington-y. ^_- Just don't give him a wig, and all will be well. ^_^
