You amaze me with how fast you get this out! Bravo with that, alone. My only qualm (I like that word, qualm, makes me sound smarter than I am, eh? ^_-) with this chapter is the abrupt way Bootstrap up and leaves. Though again, he's your own to make, really, so however you want him to act.
Did like the lines about age and whatnot, thought that was very... Jack-esque. (For lack of adjectivies. It's gotten early again ^_^') And the beginning was cute in a non-mush way. ^_^ Abhor the mush...
Though, really, I don't have any complaints about this chapter. Edit it or no; I think it's good as is. ^_^
But, if you wanted to say... make it longer, I wouldn't mind! ^_- I can't get enough of this story, love it to peices.

Chp. 9: OK, Bootstrap must get lost right now. He's pissing me off so much. As a note, isn't "parley" supposed to be "parlez"? It is French, after all. This story is really great, I love the Will/Jack stuff, obviously, and I can't wait to read the next chapter. :)

Chp. 10: How old is Jack supposed to be, ay? ay? I was guessing mid to late thirties. Bootstrap should die. I'm sorry if you like him, but he's just a nuisance. And wanting to kill Jack! That's sacrilege! Please update soon, this is extremely good.

yay! You threatened Jack! Ofcourse, my depest regrets to Jack but I find it amusing that you kept himcalm in such a sittuation, just like Jack.

This wasn'tmy favo cha chapter either but you did go through with it excellently. WillandBootstrap were terribly awkward and you can practically see the tension with tyhe two of them when he's threatening Jack. I wonder where Anamaria was during all this.
I loved the way you left that door open so that, if the time comes, there might or will be a confrontation/fight between the pendulum and the pearl and it will go down to Will and Bootstrap. With Jack making not entirely helpful comments some whereon the sideleines before getting bored or loosing his tenper aand stopping the two.

I don't like that idea much, but you left that door there. So it's cool.
I wonder what will Elizabeth do when she finds out her ex is hooking up with Captain Jack Sparrow. Gods, I hope she slaps him. The expression on Jacks face each time he gets slapped is priceless.
I find Mr. Swan pompous. Nice but a real hardass in a way. You made Bootstrap his opwn person, sthe way you have him, it's that,near the end, he becomes something more than just Will father,he becomes the true Bootstrap Bill.

oOo...bad bad Bootstrap. We do not hold pistals to Jack's face. Right, so...definitely liking the story so far. And I'm very glad that you're posting it on AFF.net too because ff.net is being a piece of crap right now. Anyway...love where you're going with the story so far and I can't wait for the citrus! Not that that is the only thing vital to a fic, but yeah...you still gotta love itpefupefully this won't turn into a Bootstrap disowning Will because he's with Jack thing, well...no, that isn't neccesarily bad, it'll just turn the whole damn thing into one huge soap opera. Wow...a pirate soap opera, now that's something new. Anyway, my brain is fried and I can't really think of anything else to write. Sorry. Umm, anyway, can't wait for thet cht chapter(s)! Oh, and thanks men mentioning me in this chapter...I feel so special. *grin*
