Hi there!

Just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying this fic. I've been playing around with a couple of ideas myself and am having a devilishly hard time getting Jack's "voice" right, so I'm really impressed that it\ome ome through so well in your work! And may I to tto that, *thank you* for not writing out accents and clipped speech. That always drives me batty.

Favorite bits so far: I liked that you got Elizabeth out of the way without demonizing her. A lot of fics seem to have her running off with another guy (usually Norrington) and as much as I like the angst of her betraying Will, it does seem rather out of character. Also, at the beginning of Chapter 3, the bit about fixing Jack's problem. The hair, the clothes...//grins// In general, Jack's concern for Will. I like that he's protective. The first kiss! Of course. //smiles// Anamaria's "about damn time".

Criticism: Nothing major, but you asked for more meaty reviews, so... I think Jack making Will his first mate straight off might have been moving a little fast. Wouldn't that create resentment among the more long standing crew? I'm interested to know if you had a plot-related reason for that (i.e., lessening the power difference between them.)

Bits I'm *really* looking forward to: Will and Jack getting sweaty. //grins// The fireworks that are bound to fly when Bootstrap finds out just what Jack's relationship with Will is. Potentially, a reunion with Elizabeth to see what she thinks of Will's new love. Are you planning this? //hopefully// I understand if the story doesn't veer that way, but I'm one of those people who adore "reaction" scenes. //grins//

And damn -- one of the notes at the bottom of on you your chapters just solved the major problem I was having with my one PotC plot bunny. Argh! I have two novels, and an epic fan fic already in the works. I can't start another one...but they're so pretty... See what you've done now? //grins//

This is such a wonderful fic! And I love how you update so quickly! Amazing. I could never do that. Takes me almost 2 weeks to write a damn chapter. But anyway, that's not the point. I'm so glad that there are other PotC slashers out there writing these fics, never did like how the movie ended. Anyway, that's a nice little cliffy you gave us there, half of me is like "oOo..." and the other half of me is going "no, dammit, no! No cliffy! I want to know what happens next!" But alas, my fmy fic, it's yours and I can only count on your muse consistently fulfilling it's duty. Right, so I'm going to go now...hopefully a mild lemon next chapter? *hint hint* No, j/k..well, kind of, at least more Will/Jactiaction! Yay!

First off: Good, write more! Second... I'd love to see Bootstrap threaten to castrate Jack! Any other lovely family feusds would be appreciated.... Ooh, and will Elizabeth make an appearance? That could be fun... I like this. A lot.

I love this story. I can't help wondering where Bootstrap has been for the past ten years though? I really like the relationship between Will and Jack too.

You are so sweet! And I am seer girl! Is bootstrap going to be happy about the Will/Jack thing going on? SOme how I can picture the guy pointing a gun at Jack and screwing to kill him or castrate Jack if he hurts Will. Bootstrap, the very ghostly essence captured of him in the movie is perfect. You go girl

Just the whole Anamaria thing was absolutly wonderful, i can see her teasing him about it for ages. Hee hee
