so far, I love it, and I've only read the first chapter. I too have only seen the movie once and am wishing desperately that I could go see it again. Ah well, it'll be out on DVD eventually, and then I can drool over Jack as much as I want, eh? : ) Keep up the good work.

So far, an intriguing story and a well-written one. The historical notes are helpful, too -- thanks. I'm looking forward to reading more (a rare statement given the quality of most fanfiction).
