I love how you've intepreted Mr Brown. NO ONE EVER gives him any character. he's either a drunk or a rapist or... you get the idea. I like how you've given him actual personality.

I love your writing style, and how everyone is in character to the tee. And the burning of the rum. It's funny, it works and I dont think anyone has thought over the fact that the Black Pearl CANT sail into Port Royal anymore, and actually take initiative for Jack to commandeer another boat and get in. This is the first I've seen and YAY for you for thinking of it. The BP is always out of sight or, just out of range or dubiously beyond the coastline whenever Jack is in Port Royal. This fic actually makes sense since it also bring up the fact he commandeered the ship from the movie. Ahhhh I suddenly want to watch the movie again.

It would be hilarious for THIS ship to run down again too. Great opportunity for Anamaria to say: DOES THIS HAPPEN ALL THE TIME!?
And Jack to answer: Yes, unfortunately it does.

I love this! I've been waiting for the third chapter most impatiently, and it definitely didn't disappoint! I love your depiction of Will and Elizabeth's relationship, and I really like your jack. I feel quite sorry for the poor man, though - the RUM! Thank you!
