A logical problem: If Will was not breathing when Jack grabbed him, he would never survive the struggle to the island. How long do you imagine it takes Jack to get to shore? Ten, twenty minutes? As humans cannot survive without breathing for more than five minutes, Will would be dead by the time they got to land.

The solution: Sometimes when people lose unconsciousness underwater, they reflexively do not breathe. This could have happened to Will, allowing him to survive until Jack pulled him above water, where he would begin breathing again.

Also, watch your use of tense. Sometimes you switch into present, when you are telling the story in the past. Otherwise, I'm interested in what direction you are taking this story.

If you kill Will I will hunt you down and haunt you til the end of your days!!!!!

Hahaha. Cliffhangers are lotsa fun to write, ain't they? I love to employ their evilness. Torturing both the characters and the audience is fun. Keep it up! (I like torture. I'm a nasty little masochist... although I do dabble in the sadism from time to time. Not THAT way, mind you. *gasp* I can't believe you even thought that! You perverted little... how dare you think such naughty, naughty thoughts!) >:)

I'm really enjoying your story so far. I love the cliffhangers, but I hate them, so I guess just keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to reading more cuz there aren't really very many PotC stories out there yet and this is one of the best!!
