The first second-person fic I've been able to get two paragraphs into--consider yourself praised! The character development is good, the lovemaking hot, the dialog mostly fitting. The woman's revelation is a bit over the top, but only in terms of pacing. A more gradual demonization of her evil spouse, even if there _isn't_ really room for it in the length of the story, would have been more plausible. And just as scary.

I loved this story and its concept. For a moment there you had me wondering if you'd actually have him come back or not. I do like what you decided to do but I would have been satisfied if he'd not come back. It was lovely.

I loved this story so much! I cried and not many stories can make me do that. I would love to see more about this pairing! Wonderful job!

Loved it so much!

Especially the perspective is quite daring and it works out really well.
I like the way you write about Jack, him being tender and loving, yet he never stops being a pirate captain, someone who is used to killing and stealing if necessairy, someone who has a responsibility for his crew, no matter which personal sacrifices he has to make.

Thanks for a splendid read!

Your story drew me in because I've always loved the Don Henley song with this same title. Was there something about that lyric that inspired you to write this story? You have a great command of plot, character, and action that moved along terrifically. You were true to the character of Jack shown in the movie. What is it about Jack that haunts me so? I've read your story several times and will keep re-reading it. I hope to see more of your work here. Thanks for your effort!

This has been certainly one of the most erotic encounters I ever had with the written . My. My heartfelt thanks for this wonderful experience. I shall watch out closely for your name on the wide open sea of fanbased literature and hope to encounter it again.
