Disclaimer: I don’t own then, but I certainly wish I did, I do however own the little girl.
Summary: Jack/Will, the two have been together for a year now and Will yearns for something they can’t get by themselves. Together they come to a solution and carry out what they want most.
Chapter 1 – Something Missing
Jack watched Will lean on the side of the ship staring out at the vast ocean around them, he seemed to be in thought, deep in thought. He walked over to Will swaying in his usual fashion and wrapped his arms around his young lover nuzzling the back of his neck softly.
“What ye’ thinking luv” Jack asked resting his head on Will’s shoulder smiling when warm, rough hands closed over his.
“Us, life, the one thing that’s missing” Jack moved back a little looking at the younger man a little confused. What did he mean something was missing, they had each other, they were no longer wanted for hanging, and they had their life on the sea, what could be missing.
Will turned around at his lover’s silence and took hold of his hands smiling softly.
“What do ye’ think is missing Will” Jack almost dreaded the answer hoping and praying that Will wasn’t going to leave him, that he couldn’t happen, Captain of the Pearl or not he couldn’t live without Will, it just wasn’t right.
“Something that would make us a family Jack, that’s what’s missing.” Jack looked even more confused at this.
“We are a family Will, what are ye’ talking about.” Jack looked at his lover trying desperately to figure out what he meant but knew that the look of relief was evident in his own eyes, at least Will wasn’t going to leave him.
“Children, Jack I’ve always wanted a family, but neither of us can have children, I’ve been thinking about it, it’s what I want.”
Fear took over Jack’s mind once again, Will was going to leave him for a woman, he wanted children and since they couldn’t have them together he was going to leave him.
“Will, stay we can be happy, do ye’ really need children?” This took Will by surprise, Jack sounded almost scared, no couldn’t be, not Jack, but with another look in his lovers eyes Will saw the fear in Jack’s eyes.
“Jack, I’m not going to leave you, never would a woman take you’re place in my heart, nor another man, you are the one I want, I have a solution and we can have children” Will pulled Jack closer wrapping his arms around the older mans waist.
“How luv? Neither o’ us is capable o’ having children, how can we have them.”
Jack finally sounded relieved, and Will smiled knowing that he had been worried about him leaving. Never in a million years would he leave Jack.
“Adoption lover, we adopt a child or two and we can have a family, would you like that, children for us to care for and love, it would make us a family all the more.” Jack looked at Will.
“Adoption? Will, are ye’ sure, can we handle children, aren’t they hard te’ take care of?” Will laughed and Jack’s expression and kissed him softly.
“Yes Jack, I think two pirates can handle at least two children, if not then we aren’t fit to be pirates, so what do you think?” Will watched Jack, he hoped Jack would say yes to the idea, he wanted children and he was sure Jack wanted them too. After a few minutes Jack looked at Will.
“Aye, let’s adopt two children, but mind ye’ not newborns” Will nodded smiling brightly and Jack new he was truly happy. That’s all that Jack wanted, for Will to be happy. Jack actually liked the idea of children, he had wanted a family a long time ago but thought he would never find any one to raise them with. Now that Will wanted to try and adopt children Jack was glad to become a father.
A WEEK LATER
Will and Jack stood in a room watching twenty children run around screaming, yelling, and playing. Will looked excited and Jack looked almost scared.
“Will luv how are we going te’ choose” Jack asked still watching the children in the room and reached over taking hold of Will’s hand.
“First you need to decided what age, sex, and color you want” Came a voice from behind the two men. They turned seeing a young woman smiling at them.
Will stuck out his hand that wasn’t holding Jack’s, to the woman.
“William Turner, and this is my husband Jack Sparrow, we’re looking to adopt, I think some where around 5 months to 1 years old, a girl would be nice, and possibly our race.” The woman nodded and turned beckoning them to follow her.
“Now you know I’ll need you both to sign papers to be able to adopt a child?” The woman said as they entered a room that looked to be her office. Jack and Will nodded as she sat at her desk motioning for them to sit in the chairs across from her.
After filling out the papers and explaining their relationship to the woman who finally introduced herself and Cindy, they were led to a room of at least 15 babies ranging from new born to 2 years old. Jack and Will looked around and both stopped at a crib holding a baby girl with dark black hair and crystal blue eyes.
“How old is she?” Will asked looking up at Cindy.
“6 months old, very content and a wonderful personality for her young age, her name is Lilly” Cindy said as she approached the crib. Will looked at Jack and their decision was made, they this baby girl.
A few hours later they were boarding The Black Pearl with Jack holding Lilly and Will’s arm around his waist. They put Lilly in a room they had set up next to theirs and then set sail as the crew tried to figure out what had gotten ithe the captain’s head.
LATE THAT NIGHT
Jack smiled as warm arms encircled his waist and he turned to face his lover planting a soft kiss on his lips. Will grinned lightly and pulled Jack closer deepening the kiss.
“Want something luv?” Jack whispered huskily in Will’s ear before kissing his neck multiple times causing the younger man to shudder in excitement.
“Only you” Will whispered back and pushed Jack onto the bed straddling him and gave a surprised yell as Jack flipped them straddling Will. Just as Jack bent down to kiss Will a loud shrill came from the room beside theirs. Jack groaned and rolled off Will and stood up only in his pants and started for the door.
“I’ll take care o’ ‘er this time” He said as he exited the room. Will got up following Jack quietly wanting to watch Jack since he hadn’t put Lilly to sleep yet. Jack reached the crib and pick Lilly up holding her close to his chest.
“Lilly luv, ye’ have wonderful lungs, but use them te’ breath not scream” Jack kissed her tiny forehead and Will smiled watching from the door way. Lilly continued to cry but not as loud and Jack grabbed the bottle that was lying beside her crib on the dresser and sat on the bed across from her crib and started to feed her.
“Lilly I promise tha’ Will and I will take care o’ yea’, Will is an annoying lad but wonderful in his own way, ye’ don’t have a mother like most children but Annamaria is on board, but I think Will and I can do just fine raising yea’. I trust Will with me life and I know that ye’ can bring us closer if tha’ is possible.” Jack kept telling Lilly about Will, the ship, the sea, and some about himself, then once she finished her bottle, burped her and smiled as she fell asleep, then laid her in her crib kissing her forehead.
Jack turned around and stopped when he saw Will smiling at him from the doorway.
“How much did ye’ hear” Jack asked quietly so he wouldn’t wake Lilly. Will grabbed his hands and pulled him back into their bedroom and pulled Jack against him.
“Everything, I didn’t know you could be so caring and open” Will pulled Jack to the bed and pushed him down laying next to him.
“An’ if ye’ tell any one I’ll dump yea’ o’er the side o’ the ship, savvy?” Will chuckled and nodded kissing Jack before he replied.
“Savvy” Jack smiled and rolled ontop of Will kissing him roughly his hands traveling down his lovers body to the ties of the pants her wore and tugged at them. Will shifted so Jack could pull the pants down and off of him then went to work getting Jack’s pants off as well. They continued their actions well into the night, the whole time making sure to not wake Lilly.
