Dangers Foretold
(( This is my first attempt at a Laby Fan fic, this is just the prologue, mainly written as a away of kick starting myself into getting on with things. Here's the scenario, Toby is in University, Sarah is married and has a 7-year-old daughter, and a newborn son. I don't own any characters, they belong to the Jim Henson co, please don't sue. I'm a SAHM andthis site is too precious to loose.))

Prologue
"Great work Sarah, he's a wonderful little boy." Toby lent over and kissed his older sister on the cheek.
"Thanks Toby..." Sarah was interrupted when her husband and daughter came into the room.
"Mommy!! Mommy!! I'm a big sister now!!" squealed the 7 year old brunette as she jumped on the bed. Sarah winced as her eldest child landed on her.
"Careful sweety Mommy is still pretty sore, she had a rough night."
"I'm going to be the best Big sister ever!" Squealed Chole as she kissed her mother's hand. "Can I see him now?" the little girl looked to her father pleadingly.
"I'll take her" Toby said, "You two have some catching up to do, plus I want to see my nephew before I jet off to Uni." Toby took his niece's hand and led her out of the room to the nursery. "Chole, did I ever tell you of the time when your mom wished me away
Chapter 1
Five months later
"Duncan, try and eat this, it will do you good." Sarah pleaded with the infant boy squirming in his seat. She offered him a plastic spoon with a bit of white paste on the tip and it was pushed away but a sticky fist. As Duncan took in a breath to start to cry Sarah took her moment and stuck the spoon in his mouth.
Chole was playing in the backyard with some dolls. They were all sitting on little chairs and there was a table with a tiny tea tray set up on it.
"Now Sir Dydamus, would you like some sugar?" "Oh well then please at least have a cookie." She played like this for quite a while and just as it was starting to get dark a white barn owl landed on a fence post near buy.
"Chole it is time to come in dear." Sarah poked her nose outside to call her daughter in; she missed seeing the owl.
"But Mom..."
"Chole it is time for your bath." Sarah came out of the house carrying Duncan on her shoulder. "Grab Sir Dydamus and Hoggle and come in!"
"Yes Mom.." Chole gathered up her dolls and tea tray and brought them all inside.
"I'm just going to put Duncan to bed and then I will help you with your bath."
Sarah was tired after a long day. She was looking forward to getting Chole tucked in to bed and she herself would have a nice long bath. With David away on business she had to take care of the kids all by herself, but thankfully he was due home in the morning. Duncan was a little fussy going to bed but he settled down quite quickly. With the baby monitor on she left quietly and went to go tend to Chole.
"And Sir Dydamus was telling me all the brave deeds he and Hoggle did." Chole splashed in the water excitedly. "Mommy?" she said suddenly sombre "Do you miss them?"
"That was a long time ago, the last time I saw them was before you were born. I asked them to watch over you and keep you safe."
"And they do!!" Cried Chole as she jumped out of the bathtub and was bundled into a warm towel. "Umm Mommy this towel smells nice, like sunshine and bubbles." Just then Duncan let out a long wale that could be heard throughout the house without the aid of the baby monitor on Sarah's hip.
"Chole you get in to your jamma's, I'll see to Duncan and then tuck you in."
"Duncan always comes first.." Chole grumbled as her mother left the room. She dutifully got into her pyjamas and picked out her favourite storybook and crawled into bed. She waited, and waited, and waited. All she could hear was the loud shrill noise of her baby brother from the room next to hers. She looked at the wall that separated their rooms and willed her brother to sleep.
It worked!! Suddenly he was quiet. Chole wiggled in her bed as her mother came through the door. "Sorry, he was very upset. I don't know why." Sarah sat on the bed beside her daughter and opened up the red leather book. "Where were we??"
"The princess had just come to the beautiful garden with the ugly gnome and..." Just then Duncan decided to scream again.
"I'm sorry Chole, I think we will have to pass the story tonight. I promise though tomorrow we will read 2 chapters, and Daddy will put Duncan to bed." Sarah left the room to deal with her son.
"Duncan always gets the attention! I'm left all alone without stories, no help after my bath. Mummy didn't even comb my hair!! I HATE Duncan. Before he came I got all the attention. I wish he was never borned, I wish he would go away. I wish the Goblins would take him away!"
Chole fumed a little until she fell asleep. Sarah finally got Duncan settled and left the room. Suddenly the power went out.
Hi everyone, now this is my take on how Jareth would appear today. Sarah's fantasies have grown as she has grown. And what is Jareth but a living reminder of those Fantisies? The next few chapters will get a little steamy I will warn you now.. Those of you who are a little young, or sensitive about those things.. Please don't read on.
Chapter 2
The air had a familiar electric feeling it. A small window in Duncan's room burst open. Sarah turned to see the man she knew walk through the open window. He was dressed quite sedately, almost sombre. It was if he grew up when she did and his need for flamboyant costumes was gone. Simple black was all he wore, gone was the extravagant hair, it was just long. He still wore the leather gloves that looked like his hands were cloaked in the very night air.
Without seeing it Sarah KNEW her son was gone, taken from his warm bed to a place she still visited in her dreams. Murderous rage filled her how dare he come uninvited into her home and steal her child.
"Give him back" Sarah said in a cold voice, "You have no power here."
"But I do Sarah, but I do" Jareth's smooth voice ran over her like ice. "You see, I have your son, that is power over you, I have your daughter as well just to keep things simple."
Sarah's voice caught in her throat; Chole, she must have called Jareth here! But then why did he take her?
"Well I can't have you running around with a 7 year old girl now can I?" he said answering her thoughts.
"You ba.."
"Now, what was it my minion said? A yes.. Don't try to flatter me I've got no pride?"
"Give me the child.."
"Sarah that tired line means nothing here."
"You don't scare me Jareth, I am not a child anymore."
His eyes ran over her body taking in every adult curve. "I can see that," His voice was smooth like a snake crawling across her skin. Sarah crossed her arms defensively across her chest.
"Give me my children!"
Jareth smiled, he knew he was having an effect on her. "Sarah, give up you don't suit motherhood. Well not in this mundane lifestyle you don't. You are just like your mother, you need adventure and excitement..."
"Don't you DARE mention my mother, give me my children Jareth! Give them to me now or I will..."
"You'll what Sarah?" he stepped backwards and disappeared. Sarah found herself standing on that familiar hilltop.
