Disclaimer:
I do not own Labyrinth, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
The Goblin Kings Women
Disclaimer: I do not own “Labyrinth” or anything to do with it, neither do I own the lyrics to any song I put in her unless I say otherwise.
A/N: This was once upon a time an answer to a challenge, but since I do not know how to work said challenge into the “Plot” it is now just a regular story, with cliches abound in it.
Title: The Goblin Kings Women
Chapter 1: How could I Forget?
The poster had been her favorite, she had considered the artist a genius. Until she stepped into the room herself.
The moment she saw the stairs turned upside down, right side up, sideway horizontal and bottom on the top; she was filled with a terror so unique that she never could have imagined its feeling before.
How was she supposed to traverse such an opposite of the law of physics? She began walking forward, her shoes making a harsh slapping sound against the stones. Before this experience she had lived in a world that was a facade, her father and step mother pretending they were always so happy. That she was happy.
Yes she was a brat, she knew it. In a way it was so people would back up and leave her be. Now she was in a world she had only dreamed of, but to find that it had been twisted and turned by a flaxen haired puppeteer. Wishing Toby away was a mistake. She now knew, she had just been so frustrated; what did she know about taking care of babies?
Than HIS voice filled the stone room, bouncing against the walls in a trembling echo. HIS voice sending quivers along the inside of her thighs. How could a mans voice fill her mind so completely? She forgot what she was searching for and began looking for the man haunting her thoughts.
How you turned my world, you precious thing
You starve and near exhaust me
Everything I've done, I've done for you
I move the stars for no one
You've run so long
You've run so far
She walked quickly on the steps, her hands against the wall so she knew what she was seeing was real. Sarah looked down, hearing his voice coming from below her.
Your eyes can be so cruel
Just as I can be so cruel
Though I do believe in you
Yes I do
He walked toward her, so close she could feel his breath, smell his scent. He kept coming closer, then, he walked through her. For one second they were one, he felt like a flame burning through her. She felt his anger at her being so close to victory. Sarah felt something hot and passionate and so much longing. Everything he felt at that moment coursed through her soul.

His hand held the crystal toward her as she searched through her head for the line. How could she not remember it, she had practiced these words for so long. Yet that line continued to elude her. Sarah’s breathing grew faster in panic, ‘I have to save Toby!’ God what was that line?
The deep timbre of his voice confused her as he continued to speak, “Just fear me. Love me. Do as I say and I will be your slave.” She put her hands over her ears as she tried to concentrate, the line swam around in her mind but she could not catch it. They danced upon the tip of her tongue. Sarah could feel his joy escalate at her lack of response. He knew by speaking that he would continue to confuse her.
He grinned, “You will not remember it, in truth you do not want to. You do not want to keep a screaming, crying baby, in fact I can make it so your mother never left. You will be their only child, their only focus.”
It was so tempting; Mom, her and Dad together again, just us. No wicked step-mother, no spoiled baby brother. She clenched her eyes shut, “NO!!”
Than the haunting sound of a striking bell. Metal upon metal, harsh clanging.
Her eyes flew open as Jareth began to laugh in pure pleasure, Toby appeared in his arms cooing with delight as he played with the crystal. Sarah’s chest squeezed. She began shaking uncontrollably in fear, “Please, he’s just a baby. Please? Don’t hurt him.”
The Goblin King cocked his head to the side in mock sympathy. She barely noticed the area behind her fading to the Throne Room. She fell to her knees before him in a pleading manner. He looked at her, an ember burning deep within his eyes, “If you would offer something in exchange, something worthwhile.... perhaps. Then I would allow Toby his freedom.” She looked forward in confusion, “But I have nothing to give you.”
He placed Toby, who was still pre-occupied with the crystal, upon the purple laced throne and walked closer to her. If she hadn’t be so frightened, she probably would have been embarrassed that her head was now level with his. . . bulge.
He took his gloves off, throwing them on the floor with a ‘Smack’. He placed his hand on her head, tangling his fingers in the long hair, “Think Sarah, think very . . . hard.” He placed an emphasis on the last word, than forced her head to look upon the juncture of his thighs.
Sarah shook her head violently, tearing it away from his hands and scrambling back. “I c..can’t,” She stuttered, “Not that.”
He frowned and turned looking at Toby, “That is all I will accept, but since you decline...” He raised his hand and a rounded crystal formed in his palm, light swirling threateningly inside it. “No!!” she screamed, standing quickly and running over to grab his arm before he could throw the crystal at her defenseless brother.
She could feel the tears scratching at the back of her eyes, but she couldn’t cry, not in front of HIM. Her head bobbed up and down slowly, “Fine, him for me. Just please send him back home.”
His lips curved up into a smirk, “Done.” He threw the crystal up into the air, it broke and the lights shimmered all around them. She looked at the throne, Toby’s form was shimmering and fading, then, gone. “Toby.” She whispered, all of this was her own fault.
Jareth turned toward her, his eyes twinkling in delight. She put her hand over her face and collapsed to the ground. Finally allowing her tears to fall. Jareth sat next to her brushing the dark hair behind her ears. She could almost believe he cared enough to comfort her.
