AN: Now, most of you who might read this are probably wondering why I am starting a new story when I have not finished my other. *grins* What can I say? I can not deny a good challenge. SO, without further a du, I present my challenge piece.

Never Spoken Words

BTW- I Own nothing...

Ch.1

The clock chimed loudly in the background. Soft, delicate feet touched down to the bottom of the mismatched Esher room, the babe now suspended in time, unforgiving time.

The once proud Goblin King, now looking quite discolored and tired, strutted his best towards the beautiful young girl. He gazed at her with unforgiving eyes, his blond hair wisping in the broken wind.

“ Give me the child.”

The young woman spoke with dignity, her fear only tipping her words as they flowed from her mouth. Her mouth, the mouth he would give anything to have.

“Sarah, beware. I have been generous up until now... I can be cruel,”

“Generous, what have you done that is generous?”

The venomous sting that saturated her words made him recoil like they burnt his very soul.

“Everything Everything that you wanted, I have done. You asked that the child be taken and I took it. You cowered before me, I was frightening.. I have reorder time, I have turned the world upside down, and I have done it all for YOU.”

He finished his whole circle of the girl and stared into her eyes.

“I am exhausted of living up to your expectations of me. Isn’t that generous?”

She stared at him as though he wasn’t. But he was. He wanted nothing more than to be the realist thing in her life, but she would have nothing to do with. Didn’t she want her dreams? Didn’t she want what her darkest desires held?

“Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way here to castle, beyond the goblin city. For will is as strong as yours, and my kingd,”

“Stop ” The King held his hand up in protest. The one thing he did not want to do. He must not be forceful with her. “Don’t Sarah, look what I am offering you. Your dreams.”

“And my kingdoms as great.”

“Just let me rule you and you can have whatever you want.”

“My kingdom as great... damn.”

The kings heart jumped with delight. She had forgotten the line again. His perfect little girl had forgotten the one line that could free him from her forever, or let him take her over and make her his.

“I can never remember that line.”

“Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave ”

The king looked in desperation at the beauty standing in front of him. She looked so perplexed, the line on the tip of her tongue, yet it didn’t want to jump from it.

“My kingdom as great... my kingdom as great.”

The chimes began again to sound, the spell of stopped time beginning to wear off. The king hoped and wished that she would forget, nothing more in this world the Aboveground such a prize to have. Her magical abilities stashed beneath her humble human figure, her eyes searching frantically for the right words to make it all right again.

She swore to herself and never even noticed the enraged king stalking his way to her as the twelfth chime resounded off the busting walls. And as the thirteenth chime rose to the sound of their ears, she slowly looked up, fear lacing her eyes as the hungry Goblin King looked her over. He smiled coyly and replied, “You have no power over me.”

All went black and all Sarah could do was hope to the gods that everything was going to be ok.

“Toby Toby where are you?”

Sarah ran up the deserted stairwell and walked into a room with millions of stairs every which direction. There sat Toby, small and innocent. Never did anything to anyone, even if she though he was annoying sometimes. And as soon as she stepped to retrieve the brother she loved so dearly, there stood the king of her dreams. HE reached down and picked the child up smiling all the while in Sarah’s general direction. She watched in fascination as he looked him over, bouncing him slightly in his arms.

“You are very handsome. You do have my eyes after all.”

“Get your hands off him you pig.” Sarah yelled at him from across the room.

Ignoring her completely, Jareth smiled down at Toby. He slowly made his way over to the edge of the stone circle he stood at and began to laugh evilly.

“Your little wench of a sister should have listened. Now, it is all her fault this will happen ”

Sarah’s scream bounced off the walls of the stone room as the baby was flung over the edge and fell unforgivingly into the cavern below. The sickening thud of his fragile body hitting the floor bounced off the walls and into the two’s ears. Sarah collapsed and began to cry in a fit of sobs.

“You son of a bitch ”

Jareth’s eyes glistened at her. “You have no power over me.”

Sarah jolted awake, her heart pounding incredibly fast. Sweat clung to her body and her head was reeling with pain. She lifted her head up, only to have collide with a surface to not far from where she lay. With a loud, resounding THUD, she swore out loud and rubbed where her head hit the glass.

“What the fuck, where am I?”

Sarah slowly propped herself up on her elbows. She rolled her neck in various directions, the kinks slowly making their leave. She felt so stiff, as if she had been laying here for years. She stretched her legs out, only to swear again when her toes cramped up. She swiftly tried to get up again, only to crash into the glass laid on top of her, letting out another string of obscenities.

She opened her eyes and slowly, very slowly lifted her head to see exactly where she was. She looked out of the glass and found she was in a room, a well furnished room. The gray stone walls glinted in the sunlight pouring in the room from the open doors, which lead to a balcony. The tapestry on the walls were a deep blue, outlined in a whimsical orange, which was outlined in sliver. The bed was a monstrous four poster bed, with what look like fine slick dressings and mountains of pillows. The bathroom could not be seen, she noted to herself, and only when she strained to find even the trace of life, did she finally notice.

She herself was encased in a glass box.

Suddenly feeling very closterphobic, she began to bang the hell out of the glass. She panicked, her breath starting to get caught in her throat. She began to see dots, the air not quite making it into her system. She barely even noticed the figure standing up along the edge, quickly, frantically opening the box.

The fuzzy figure picked her up and held her like a fragile china doll. She began to breath evenly again, her vision still seeming not to grant her wish of looking onto her saving oppressor.

“Calm down, my Sarah. Just breath.”

That voice. Sarah’s mind stung with the sound of the voice that clang to the air she was breathing. Her body went rigid and she began to fight the arms that were taking her to where ever she was going.

“Easy now, easy my Sarah.”

She began to fight more, something in that voice not right. It made her insides flare, made her mind reel with a thousand dirty images. It made her thighs quiver with anticipation. She wasn’t supposed to have these thoughts. She was after all only 15.

“My how you have grown, grown into such a lovely woman.”

Sarah’s eyes began to adjust as the person laid her onto the bed. She felt something being slipped over her wrists. She gasped, both in pain and anticipation, as the bindings were tightened and her hands were let loose from the hands of her now coming into focus prince.

“Not a prince, my love, a king.”

Sarah’s heart froze in place as her eyes finally focused and she zoned in on the figure standing in front of her. She gasped slightly as the half naked man in front of her smiled. His smile made her knees melt and made her heart race.

“Jareth?” Sarah suddenly began to panic. She wasn’t supposed to be here. What happened? Why was she here. Images began to flash in her mind. A small young boy crawling on some steps, a handsome man offering her her dreams. Why hadn’t she taken them? And then suddenly, the picture of the man in front of her throwing the small boy over the edge of the circle.
*TOBY *
Sarah began to feel tears well in her eyes. She sobbed a couple times and then suddenly stopped. She mustered up al of her courage and then sighed it all out.

“You have no power over me.”

The man smiled a truly evil smiled.

“To late.”
