The Viper’s bite

Summary: Known as Viper because of his quick strike, Ky’an is a great Hunter with a beautiful female at his side. However, when she chooses one of greater stature, Ky’an’s plans for revenge take a turn he was not expecting.

Chapter 1
She woke up with stuff dripping down the side of her face. It was horrible smelling, wet stuff… how gross. Paula wanted to puke but her next-door neighbor Mr. Henderson was stuck to the wall right below her with something on his face.
She heard a noise like someone opening a sticky candy wrapper and looked ahead of her.It looked like an egg case as it opened. Paula began to whimper. She heard hissing as one of those black creature came towards her. The thing in the egg sack leaped out and attached to the woman beside Paula.The black creature came closer. Paula decided not to show her fear.
“Are you the one who put all this spit on me?”
The creature hissed and drooled.Paula struggled. “Went a little overboard don’t you think.”
It came while she was in the bath. It just scooped her right up and carried her naked and screaming to here.Paula looked down to see that most of mucus covered her breasts. Perverted bastard she thought. The creature came closer rubbing its tail up her smooth legs. She started screaming at it to leave her alone.
A shrill from another creature made it run away quickly.Paula stopped screaming when it had gone. She heard the candy wrapper sound again and decided it was time to leave.She pulled as hard as she could but the solidified mucus was unbreakable. Paula hung there on the wall exhausted.
“Nothing ever happens in the country, wait until I send my mother this postcard. Love the scenery wish you were here.”
Paula whined. “I hate my life” She hung her head waiting for the spider-like creature in the egg to come for her.
The sounds of battle in the other part of the cave reached her ears and Paula smiled. Maybe the army or something discovered the creatures and was here to rescue them. Paula began screaming for help.
The creature that brought her here came back, began tearing the mucus from her body, and freed her. Paula began swinging at its head.
“Get away from me”
The thing began hissing as creatures in black masks walked into the egg chamber. Paula stood there naked staring at them coming closer. The black creature hissed and raised its tail at it them.
What in the hell were these creatures? Did the army get some new recruits? Paula continued to stare at the huge masked creatures as strange disc weapons flew around her killing all the spider like creatures leaping in the air.
The black creature that had brought her there turned towards her seeing the odds were against him. She never had seen so many mouths in her life. Paula shielded herself when she saw the teeth shoot out at her.
Something had stopped them from hurting her. One of the black masked creatures, the big one, had grabbed the teeth and stepped on the tail. It was looking at her through the mask.
Ky’an saw through the scan the female was not carrying an embryo inside of her. Her body temperature indicated she was cold and afraid.
“Finish the chamber and we will return home.” Those with him began to destroy the other eggs and place devices around the cave.
The black creature struggled in his grip as he continued to look down at Paula.Finally, she heard the snapping of bone and the black creature slid to the floor. Paula backed when it came closer.
“Please do not kill me.”
Ky’an grabbed her before she stepped in the acid blood behind her.He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. Her breastbone slammed into his shoulder and Paula groaned in pain when he began running out of the exploding cave.
He could hear the female talking about kicking someone in the ass. He smirked under the mask and jostled her around so her stomach was more on his shoulder.
Great now my big ass is in the air she thought grunting with every step the creature took. The rocks began to fall down and Paula raised herself up to look at the direction they were going.
“You can not be serious. You can not jump that with me on your shoulder.”
All she received was a grunt and then weightlessness took over. She screamed until they hit ground on the other side running as if nothing ever happened.
She was unconscious he could tell because she was no longer talking. It was just as well, he wanted to see her without the mask on and he knew she would not allow him inspection while conscious.

Paula smiled at the warmth she felt over her body. She heard clicking and sat up instantly.They had crab-like flaps covering their mouths; they were giant creatures, powerful looking, and a greenish brown color. All wore their hair in dreads with metal looking rings along the ends. They were staring at her and clicking. She grabbed the sheet tighter feeling afraid.
The one that seemed to be the leader came towards her. It was the one that had threw her over his shoulder. His light grey eyes bore into hers.
“What is your name?”
Paula almost dropped the sheet but held her composure. “Paula, what is yours?”
Ky’an reached out to touch her shoulder length curly hair. Paula tried to move away but he gently restrained her. “My name is Ky’an.
He touched the brown skin on her face. He liked the feel of it earlier when he applied the salve between her breasts. He wanted to touch those again also.
“Ky’an what do you wish to do with her.” Dev’er clicked. He was his sister’s mate. He knew what Ky’an was going to do and hope to talk him out of it.
Ky’an grunted when Paula slapped his hand from her face. “This is not the touch and see zoo.”
Ky’an smiled.“I will take her home.”
Paula looked at him and all the others in the room and jumped off the table. Ky’an smiled and grabbed the sheet.Paula held the other end trying desperately to hang on. He slowly dragged her back to him.
“You will not be harmed.”
“Please let me go. Just dropped me off somewhere I can make it back. I swear I will not tell anyone about you please.”
Ky’an stared down into her beautiful green eyes and smiled. Se’tra will hate her.
“Phi prepare her for the trip.”
The Healer nodded and took Paula from Ky’an’s arms. Paula fought him until he growled and threw her over his shoulder and carried her out of the room.
Dev’er growled at Ky’an. “You know she hates Oomans.”
Ky’an smiled. “She especially hates beautiful ones Dev’er.”
“Turn from this path Ky’an it can only bring jealousy and harm.”
Ky’an faced his brother by law and smiled even more. “That is exactly what I want.”
