White and Black Pearls - Author's Note
Author’s Note: I’ve researched the information used for this rather thoroughly, but if I’ve missed something or gotten anything wrong, please let me know, I would love to ensure this story sticks rather closely to the true plot(s) of the movie(s). For those who aren’t aware, the Wicked Wench was the name of the Black Pearl back when it belonged to Captain Teague (Jack’s father), and was only later christened the Black Pearl when Jones raised it from the seafloor.
Please don't repost this anywhere; feel free to link others to it if you want (though I'm not conceited enough to think you actually will) but I'd rather not have actual chunks of this work appear anywhere else on the internet. It's a Pirates of the Caribbean story that is Jack-central, but it goes through all three of the movies, before and after. So, if you haven't seen the third and hate minor plot giveaways, then don't read this. If you haven't seen the third movie and don't mind one or two minor spoilers then read on. I do not own POTC or any of the characters, etc. though I do own Celeste.
