Dom looked at the Cop who was setting him free and said “Let's go”. As soon as he said the words he could not believe them but he was not taking them back. Brian looked shocked but jumped in the car and they took off.

He and Dom did not speak as they floored it. Dom called Mia and found out that Jessie was going to live that the wounds where superficial. He told her to pack a couple of quick bags and be at the meeting point in exactly two and a half hours. He also told her he was bringing Brian. Their was a pause and then Mia spoke flatly without emotion saying o.k.

Jessie had taken a shower and was completely shook up as Mia packed a few bags including some first aide supplies and some spare money. She also grabbed a bag and through without thinking some of Brian's clothes and personal items in it.She put Jessie in the backseat making him lay low on the floor coushining it with blankets and pillows.

He laid their without protest as the back of the car was stacked with bags, water, food and emergency supplies. They stopped at a gas station a few blocks away and she filled the gas tank and three 10 gallon jugs full of gas. She knew the car was running fine and grabbed some munchies for herself and Jessie.

Mia did not allow herself to think about Brian and all that had happened. She was in shock and went through things mechanically as she knew if she thought about it she would shake and fall apart. She needed the edge of adrenaline in order to get to at least the meeting place. She had also changed so that no speck of blood remained on her but she felt a difference already settling inside of her that she was not sure was good or bad it just was.

Dom and Brian did not speak for a very long time and Brian sighed knowing as the Car raced from the scene that he was leaving his cop life behind and was now in danger of being a wanted fugitive. He could however help the team. He made a couple of last calls as they sped on.He told the dispatcher that Dom was going in the opposite direction they where going. He also said that he himself was currently in a Cab headed to the nearest police station to give a full report. He winced as these where all lies. He gave a false description of the Car that Dom was driving and that was that. He turned off his phone knowing that would only forestall the hunt for a couple of hours.

He looked at Dom and found Dom driving but with a slight smile on his face. Dom was not sure what to do about Brian and had many questions for the Cop or Ex Cop as he apparently was now. The two just gave each other a long look and then Dom begin to concentrate on getting their asses out a their.

Dom called Leon a few hours later heading towards the meeting with Mia and Jesse. His face went completly pale as Leon begin to tell him what had happend to Letty. Dom slowed the car down and pulled over to the side and looked over at Brian. The two changed places as Dom continued to listien to Leon his face completly pale. He looked at Brian and handed him a paper that had directions on it. Brian begin to drive very concerned for Dom and Letty.

Brian got the details from Leon quickly and then as soon as he hung up he looked at Dom and he found Dom just staring out the window not saying a word as one tear fell down his face. Brian quickly called Mia and before Mia could hang up told her what Leon had said.

Mia felt a pain in her heart but she knew she had to be strong and meet Dom and Brian at the Meeting point. She found out that she was only fifteen minutes away from meeting him and then they would get new cars and get across the border.

As soon as Mia pulled up and saw Brian and Dom in their car she almost lost it. She shut the engine down and told Jesse he could get up. He scrambled out he had heard the awful news and could not quite believe it Letty was gone.

Dom got out of the Passenger side and immediately started giving orders but they could all tell he was on autopilot. They quickly rolled the cars in to the big hanger that was their at the farm Dom had bought years ago.

The people who ran it as part of the cover had left a couple of hours ago in order to stay safe. Dom quickly told Mia to grab their fake passports and other items. He made sure Jesse was ok and then had him quickly load up everything that was in Mia's car in to the Moter home that was sitting their all tricked out.

Brian helped Dom check the Moterhome and made sure all the supplies where loaded. Dom checked the Moterhome it was completely filled with Gas and also had water and it was also already loaded with enough supplies for four people who looked like they where going camping in Mexico.

Dom hated to burn the vehicles but thats all he could do. He waited until everyone else was in the Camper and he told Brian to roll it out of their a good way past the fence around it. Dom took one last look at the old car and winced but it had to be done.

In the mean time Mia had given Jesse his duffel bag which contained his new passport and a fake mustache. Jesse had already dyed his hair back at the house right after his shower. Mia had also taken the time to dye her hair and change her hair color to a light blond look. She had colored her eye brows and put on different make up and clothes.

Mia gave Brian his bag already knowing he had some fake passports and Id's in their as well. She had packed it for him mechanically as she would anyone else or so she thought a little voice reminded her.
He thanked her and she just dully looked at him. He had wasted no time after rolling the Motor home out in getting a pair of sizzers and some hair dye from his bag.

Jesse jumped in the driver's seat and was ready to drive the team out. He took off the moment Dom jumped in the side door. A minute later the team heard a loud explosion and then the barn where the cars had been exploded.

Dom did not look back and kept his eyes forward. Mia mechanically helped Brian with dying his hair and did not say a word as the miles rolled by. The team was silent only saying as little as possible finally Dom spoke and laid out the plan.

Mia and Brian sat up front posing as a married couple going camping with her brothers. They had decided to play it like that. The original cover story had Letty and Dom posing as Man and Wife but that was not possible now.

Mia and Brian had barely spoke but Mia did give him a sad little smile when he put the Wedding ring on her finger. She was surprised when he got down on one knee and put it on her. He charmingly reached out and touched her just briefly. Mia felt dead inside but mechanically went along with it.

Brian sat in the drivers seat when they crossed the border. Mia sat next to him she radiated tiredness but they posed as a married couple who was bringing along her brothers to go on a fishing trip. Dom was dressed in a plaid shirt and plaid pants with white socks. He did not look the same even with his bald head as he sat in the back handing up his passport asking wide eyed if they where in Mexico yet? Jesse was also wearing plaid and sitting next to Dom all wided eyed but that was not an act. Jesse was truly freaked out.

They moved across the border with no incident as Brian made a point of touching Mia's hand as she handed over her Passport to the Bored Mexican Cop. He did a quick look and then laughed as Mia rested her hand on Brian's arm as well. Brian turned and gave Mia a quick kiss taking advantage of the moment.
