a resolution of sorts
an- did you like my major plot twist? sorry, i just had to play the star wars card! no one had done it yet, it was calling to me! please review and tell me what yuo thought! just let me get everything sorted out and I'll give you some action. here's the sorting, then the action!

"What?!" I cried. "That- that monster- was your FATHER? But I don't-"
"Hard to believe, isn't it?I have trouble myself. But aye, the demon who tokk everything I had, tortured me, killed James and Bill, killed my crew, and marooned me, all in one snake of a man." Jack looked treacherous. He downed the rest of his rum and signaled to the maid for more, which she brought quickyl in response to his expression.
"I see now...at least part of how our stories fit. We both want revenge against Barbossa. Tell me about how you lost your ship and your friends, and about my map."
"Yes, the time has come for that. You see, The treasure they had taken was cursed, and they needed Bill's son Will to lift the curse, which was how we met and became friends, and with his wife Elizabeth. I thought I had killed Barbossa when the curse was lifted, and I had the "Pearl". What I didn't know is that his bloody monkey reinstated the curse by taking a piece of the treasure. He returned in stealth to Port Royal, where Will and Elizabeth live, and cursed her with a loophole of their own. She is now one of theirs, her free will gone, a willing slave to their bidding, and therefore an enemy of ours. They took Will with them as well, as he is the one of very few, you being another, that can unlock the treasure of La Caballa. Not, however, without a great loss. If they use him, he will gain great power, but with hate. Like his wife Elizabeth, but with the strength of a Gorgon, and ruled by no one save the fury and passion of the treasure's keepers. You'd be surprised at how m uch Spanish treasure is cursed by gods, Bernice. You, on the other hand, would be able to unlock their freedom and the treasure. Barbossa and his crew don't know that part.What they really want is the treasure, and without you all they get is a very powerful Will Turner, against everyone."
"But why would I be able to free all this while Will can only bring harm?" I was just as confused as before, if not more so, and very tired.
"Because, Bernice, you have the map! They haven't got any map! They just have a set of unstable bearings taken from your father, who they killed! he knew they were coming for him, that's why he passed the map on to you. The map has the secrets to save us all, and put Barbossa and his crew in their graves once and for all! Do you understand me?"
"Yes...you're saying if we get to the treasure first, we get the treasure, Will, Elizabeth, and the death of that horrid man? And if we lose the race, we lose everything. Right?"
"Exactly. Bernice, you're smarter than I expected you to be. Are you with me?"
"Do I have a choice?"
"Not really."
"Well, then, yes."
"Splendid. We leave first thing in the morning!"
