I didn´t hear the words Dracula spoke to me, I just saw his mouth moving.
I felt like in a Trance, like moving in a dream-like state.
The master vampire came nearer until all I was able to see was his face.
He gently took my hand into his cool one and traced a lifeline with his index finger.
“Ever wondered when you were born, Gabriel? Why your memories contain so confusing images of an ancient past?”, his accented deep voice whispered.
My breath quickened in…what was it? Fear?
“I can help you to regain your memory. To recover fully from your amnesia. Forget your religious bonds. They cannot help you. I can.” He continued to talk to me in a seductive and caring tone.
I closed my eyes, almost forgetting myself. But who exactly was I? I didn´t know…
