Aftermath
10:04am.
Lora opened her eyes slowly, focusing on the alarm clock across the room.
Growling at the sunlight that seeped through the open window, she turned and slid a blind hand across the bed.
Only to discover she was alone.
"Jesse?" She murd, od, opening her eyes again as she searched the vacant room.
He was gone.
She sat up on the bed and pulled the covers around her naked body, remembering the previous night. He had told her he loved her, over and over again and he smelt so good and the way he kissed, Lora narrowed her eyes.
"Stupid."
Assuring herself as she made her way across the room, picking up various articles of clothes.
Settling with one of Jesse's white wife beaters as a shirt she brushed a hand through her messy hair and made her way down the stairs.

'I shouldn't have left her alone.' Jesse tightened his grip around a wrench and looked up to meet Dom's gaze, "I just got off the phone with Lora."
He muttered, pointing to the Eclipse in front of them.
“She keeps this while her car is busted and races at Race Wars. Go work on the Mustang."
Mia's blue car pulled onto the street quickly, squealing wheels as she rounded the corner and parked along side the diner.
"Jesse?!"
Dom watched his sister nearly leap from her car and come towards them, an angry look on her beautiful face.
"Mi, what's wrong?" He asked, holding her by the shoulders as she entered the garage.
"I just gave Lora a ride home. Jesse what the hell are you doing?!"
Jesse looked up from the wrench in his hand and sighed, at a loss for words.
"What is she talking about, Einstein?" Dom demanded, letting Mia go.
"Lora is my friend, Jesse and you're screwing with her? Is she just another race whore to you?" She continued, pushing past her brother to stand in front of the silent mechanic.
"No"
"So you fucked her last night and then left her by herself? God, why does she deserve that?"
Jesse met Mia's angry stare.
"I didn't fuck her." He growled through clenched teeth, trying to control his own emotions.
The rest of the team had gathered outside of the garage, watching the show down between Mia and Jesse.
"I don't know what I'm doing, Mi. I felt something with Lora last night - I've never felt that with anyone and it scares the fuck out of me."
Jesse took in a deep breath and looked around the garage before letting his eyes rest on Mia's shocked expression.
"It meant something to me last night, alright. I just don't know what to do about it."
Jesse threw his wrench on the ground and turned to leave, getting into his Mustang and driving off down the road.
