A private conversation

Warning: I’m not giving it away. If you think you can handle what ever I right, then proceed. Nothing too bad yet.

The sun was setting as Jade watched the Golden Arrow glide silently next to the Black pearl. Jack had handed over the Arrow to her so that she could do what she wanted with it. Her first intention was to burn the damned thing. It had occurred to her that she could sell the ship and make a nice profit from it. Then she could hunt the nasty thing down and set it aflame. The entire crew of the Golden Arrow had been found and killed except for the first mate. ~The one that took me from behind that first time.~ They had searched every crevasse of the ship and had not found him. ~Probably got killed in some brothel fight along the way.~ Jade noticed that it was about time for their evening meal, her stomach setting off a loud alarm as a reminder. They had taken turns watching over the Golden Arrow, which they had found could be done just as well from the deck of tearlearl. The wheel had been tied in place and the other ship was kept close with a few chains that would give enough warning to the watcher if the Arrow decided to go astray [1].

Jade stood and made her way towards the eating quarters. She was beckoned over to where Will and Jack had been sitting. ~I might as well spend as much time as possible with them. I don’t know how much longer I’m going to be here with them.~

Jack took a decent swig of rum before speaking. “Ah, Jade. I have some matters iscuiscuss with you. Meet me in my cabin after the meal.” Jade raised an eyebrow at Jack, causing him to retrace his words trying to find a fault. “What?”

“Could ye at least tell me what the ‘matters’ are about?” Jade said before starting in on her meal.

“Oh, I guess I could. It’s ‘bout yer ship. Nothing to worry about. I just thought it would be in your best interest to talk it over privately.”

“All right than.” Jade wasn’t sure if she could handle a ‘private talk, but she would try. It was hard enough to be close to him with people around. ~It’ll be easier than if both him and Will were talking to me privately.~

Upon walking into Jack’s cabin, Jade quickly regretted gracing him with her presence. She didn’t know why she hadn’t been keen on the ploy to begin with. The exact situation that she had tried so hard to avoid had been thrust upon her by these two scalawags.

“You tricked me.” Jade glared at Jack and then at Will. She had come in to see Jack leaning on the far wall and Will lying on the bed, his feet on the floor over the side, across the room from the other man.

“I did no such thing!” Jack pretended to look shocked as he shifted his weight to the other foot, the wall still propping his body up by the back. His arms had been crossed, so he seemed to lack the fluid hang gestures he was so fond of.

“You knew I didn’t want to meet both of you privately.” Jade was boiling with anger.

“But I didn’t trick you. I never said Will wouldn’t be here, and it’s still a private conversation.”

“It doesn’t matter what ye did, it’s what yer intention was.” Jade refused to be taken in by a simple attempt of confusing logic. After al, she had mastered it long before stepping onto the Black Pearl.

Will frowned, ~This could go on for a while.~ “How about we discuss the matters at hand, instead of bickering like spoiled children.”

Jade looked away from the two men, staring at the chair across the cabin.

Jack had given up the argument in hopes that Jade would follow suit. ~That boy is very persuasive when he pouts like that.~ Jack tried to start over. “Now about the Arrow, what are yer plans for her? If yer going to sell ‘er, I think it would only be fair to give a small portion of the profit to the crew for their work in capturing her,” Jack paused for a moment, looking to the side to see what possible interest the girl could have in the rickety old chair. “Jade, are you listening?”

Will stood up quickly and walked over to Jade. “Don’t you dare try to leave us like you did before. Not again.” Hearing the fear in Will’s voice, her head snapped back to attention, looking him in the eye. “I wouldn’t do that.” She did her best to hold back her tears, her eyes betraying her by reddening.

Jack watched the two from the side. He already knew how beautiful Will was. The face of innocence, a mind fighting over whether the pirate or the black smith should take control, and the blood. No matter which part of the boy’s mind won, he would always have the blood of a pirate. Jack continued to take in the forms before him, turning most of his attention towards Jade. ~Sometimes I can see a flicker of innocence seep through her façade. She believes those men stole it from her. I think it’s just hiding inside.~ He looked closer at her, giving her his full attention. ~I never realized how beautiful she is before. Her body is strong, her face is flawless, that in itself is a great achievement for any pirate, and her eyes. Her eyes are the brightest green I’ve ever seen. I never noticed that before. How could I have missed that?~

Leaving his position by the wall, Jack walked behind Jade, cutting off the only route to an exit. Jade had been struggling to keep her eyes from overflowing with tears, yet one had escaped from her now puffy eyes. Will embraced her, letting his own tears flow freely. Looking up he saw Jack standing in form of him. ~When did he move towards the door?~ Will asked himself, taking in the captain’s appearance. ~I wonder if he knows that he slightly resembles a jester. Acts like one too.~ Wil mused at the thought. ~A good man, a great friend, and a handspirapirate.~ Will felt Jade’s breath on his partially bare chest. He had always left the top few buttons open because the smithy could get hot as hell. It had become a habit and worked out quite well when he was doing hard labor in the heat of the sun. ~At least that’s one thing that crossed over with the profession change

He could still feel Jade’s breathing. Closing his eyes, he traced her image in his mind. ~How could anyone let an angel like this run around with pirates?~ Opening his eyes, Will smiled as Jack filled his vision. It took him a few moments before he realized that Jack’s thoughts must have been very exciting. Only then did Will realize that his had been rather nice as well. The sensation of warmth filled his groin. was was quick to notice this change. Pulling away, she turned for the door only to barely miss colliding with Jack. It didn’t take her long to realize Jack’s condition as well.

“Great. I’m stuck n a room with two horny pirates.” Jade made a half hearted attempt to look for a way out, knowing that it would probably be useless.

“Jade, you can leave whenever you want to.” Jack spoke softly as he moved towards her, placing his hands on her waist. Will walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her, just above where Jack’s hands lay. He moved in and began to slowly kiss below Jade’s ear, switching from nibbling to sucking to licking at his own whim. Jade closed her eyes, breathing deeply. Her noises where low, not quite a moan but not just deep breaths anymore. Seeing her reaction, Jack took to the other side of her neck causing her to writhe under the two men’s touch.

[1] In Ashley’s world (that would be me), this would work. It doesn’t make much sense because if the wheel was tied so that it would keep straight and the Pearl turned then they would collide. I don’t care though, because I didn’t want to have to assign crew members to go over to the Arrow, which would probably end up having to be Jade since it is now her ship. I need her over on the Pearl. So, we will pretend that it does work.

A/N: Sorry to stop in the middle like that. It was this or nothing and I haven’t updated since Christmas Eve. It looks like updates are going to be a little slower now, since I’ve gotten to parts that I really need to think through. Updates might take up to a week but hopefully no longer than that. I’ll try to keep it to every two or three days.

Also, I hope you all had a great holiday. I got a PotC tee-shirt. It has a scull with a red bandana and swords instead of cross bones. It’s a guy shirt so I’ll be wearing it as a pj shirt. It rocks though! Woo! No picture of Jack and/or Will on it though. Hey, something is better than nothing in this case.
